Planning on placing order, but have a couple questions. Your recent Captain's Logs have had supplements. Are you planning one for this issue and if so, what's its expected release date?
By Steve Cole (Stevecole) on Monday, September 14, 2020 - 12:34 am: Edit
We will have the supplement probably Tuesday or Wednesday. It will be 20 pages this time, most of it being PROPOSALS BOARD.

Can you buy the supplement as a pdf

Wow. That's a lot of rejects!
By Jeff Anderson (Jga) on Tuesday, September 15, 2020 - 03:41 pm: Edit
You've read some of my proposals, Mike; you've seen just how bad some of them (mine) have been...
By Steve Cole (Stevecole) on Tuesday, September 15, 2020 - 04:29 pm: Edit
Not all were rejected. Everything deserved a hearing. We should have done two pages per issue (not one) for the last ten years). Catching up isn't fun.

Jeff, eh, I'm in no position to judge. My success rate isn't too hot, either ...

Ordered mine today, but that shipping cost was almost enough to make me say no.
By Steve Cole (Stevecole) on Sunday, September 20, 2020 - 06:48 pm: Edit
$7.75 is what the post office charges us. There is no cheaper way.
By Jean Sexton Beddow (Jsexton) on Sunday, September 20, 2020 - 07:15 pm: Edit
Remember that the shopping cart always charges the most it will cost to ship the item. We ALWAYS refund the difference between that and the actual cost.
By Burt Quaid (Burt) on Monday, September 21, 2020 - 11:14 am: Edit
Yes they are very good about refunding the difference. Mine was done Friday back to
PayPal.

Just an FYI and I will premise this with the admission I did use the cheapest shipping.
I received CL54 and it arrived in an undamaged looking bubble envelop but the contents looking like someone had kneeled on the spine edge of the book about 1/3 of the way from top. The result is the cover has a 2” crease and all pages inside have slight tear. I ordered some counters, because well why not (which arrived in the same package unscathed).
I guess CL55 will wait until I can also order an FE expansion or some additional products, or combine my order with one of the other locals, to have it arrive in a box.

Please contact Leanna about the damaged product.

I will, thanks Jean. To be clear it’s nothing ADB did. The mail gets handled a lot like luggage at the airport.

My Captain's Log #54 shipment arrived this week!
This is the second issue of Captain's Log I've been privileged to provide a cover article for, but only the first time it's been for a "story fiction" piece, as opposed to a "history" file of the type which featured in Captain's Log #49.
I thank the folks at Amarillo for bringing this story up to ADB standards, as well as for adjusting and editing the Zosman and Omega-Paravian entries in this issue.
And of course, my thanks to those writers who contributed other Andromedan-themed stories in issues past - not least the "first encounter" story back in Captain's Log #25. What was that author's name, I wonder...
