I just picked up a copy of F&E 2010 from CoolStuffInc's booth at GenCon. Been on the fence for some time but I couldn't pass it up. Looking for players in the Philadelphia area that wouldn't mind teaching someone the ropes.

I'm out in Bryn Mawr, I think Reading is only an hour or so north? Just getting settled in after a move from Chicago and my wife was kind enough to let me attend GenCon still even after moving. I'm thinking that after school starts I should be able to figure some stuff out. There is a game store about a mile from my house, not sure what is up your way in between. Complete Strategist in KoP? Further than that?

I'm in St. Louis and am looking for a F2F game.

I "played through" it once or twice 10 years ago to learn the rules and have been reviewing, but would like to play with an experienced and local player if possible before moving on to VASSAL.

I own an updated copy of the game for use in a F2F.

Its a bit over a 2 hour drive for me, but I'm willing to make it for a weekend game. Alternatively, I have a TON of space in my house, so I can leave a game setup for a long period of time and there are spare bedrooms to crash in if you and Michael were be willing to come up here. I pledge to make available beverages of your choice and pay for the snacks and meals in exchange for the fuel you burn coming up here.

To be specific, I'm a couple miles north of Davenport. If you are interested in getting a joint gaming group together for F&E and maybe some Federation Commander or A Call to Arms, once they get 1.2 done... I'd be thrilled to have some opponents.

Relative Beginner seeks PBEM opponents - I'm based in Perth, Western Australia - so F2F would be expensive .

I have the 2010 ruleset downloaded, plus SO, FO and PO, with the others on their way from the States.

I'm familiar with the SFU having played SFB and more recently FC quite a bit, and I was one of the moderators for an SFB campaign based loosely upon parts of F&E back in the early 1990s - but other than that - go easy on me.

I have Cyberboard installed and I'm familiarising myself with it - I have some questions about protocol which I'm asking on that forum.

I've just managed to get a General War PBEM game using Cyberboard - which is being documented on the F&E Input board.

I'm a first time Cyberboard player too - so I'm learning as I go along. Once I've got settled though - I'm happy to play a second game - maybe in a few weeks?

I think you need to have some sort of Windows emulation to run Cyberboard on a MAC.
