I can live with either Gorns or Hydrans, I was wondering what the off-map recovery might look like.

I will send you the current files.

Gorns it is!

The Hydrans have just lost their Capital, and have built the first of 6 turns of shipyard steps (i.e. they get their shipyard operating on T14). They aren't gonna be doing much other than being a hassle to the Coalition for the next 6 turns.

The Gorns will be a solid, viable fighting force this game.

I shall await the next 3 turns with cold-blooded patience.

So, I just watched mirror mirror last night, and it got me thinking, I would like to start 2 games at the same time, one general war, the other twisted wind. I would like to play both Federations, good and bad guys. I play with Cyberboard, I would be willing to learn vassal. Any takers?

I am looking for a game, I use Cyberboard, but willing to learn vassal. Thanks

Bill drop me a email.

Seeking an opponent (preferably a group) willing to play with a inexperienced player. I've had F&E 2010 for several years, read the rules, but never actually played more than a turn of the game due to schedule and lack of interested players in my area.

Ian,

Where are you located?

By Ian Belanger (Sierrab109) on Saturday, August 19, 2017 - 02:09 am: Edit

I'm more interested at the moment in playing online, since my work schedule leaves little enough time for everything else.

By Richard B. Eitzen (Rbeitzen) on Saturday, August 19, 2017 - 07:46 am: Edit

Have you ever used Vassal or Cyberboard to play F&E?

By Ian Belanger (Sierrab109) on Saturday, August 19, 2017 - 10:29 am: Edit

Not before now. I actually just learned about them by reading things on this board.

Try installing both and play around to see which you prefer.

By Ian Belanger (Sierrab109) on Saturday, August 19, 2017 - 11:23 am: Edit

I'll give it a try

By Ian Belanger (Sierrab109) on Saturday, August 19, 2017 - 11:31 am: Edit

Looks like Vassal. It seems easier for me right off the bat.

By Stan Taylor (Stan) on Saturday, October 21, 2017 - 09:55 am: Edit

I used to play a fair amount but I've been away for a decade or so. I'm looking for a game via Cyberboard or Vassal. I prefer a smaller scenario that has a decent chance of finishing. One of the scenarios from Minor Empires, the Romulan Civil War, or any of the various CL scenarios would be great. I have no preference for sides.

By Lee Hanna (Lee) on Friday, December 15, 2017 - 08:36 pm: Edit

Stan, are you still looking? I'd also like a small game, preferably on Cyberboard. I haven't looked at Minor Empires or CapLogs in a while, but that's certainly a possibility.

I'd also like to see what the ISC are like in F&E. Gathering Winds (sort of a Cold War, Rom-Gorn-ISC) is one scenario I've wanted to do for a while, but never done.

Looking for a game. Will play the Coalition. Kinda Newbie. Play on Vassal

By Sam Benner (Nucaranlaeg) on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 - 09:26 pm: Edit

Looking for an opponent for a game of basic F&E (I only have the basic rules - I plan to get an expansion or two once I've got the basic game down solid). I'd slightly prefer playing Alliance, but I'm flexible. Vassal is my preferred method, as well. (If you're still looking, Charles...)

By Mike Curtis (Nashvillen) on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 - 10:55 pm: Edit

Sam, how often do you want to play per week?

By Sam Benner (Nucaranlaeg) on Friday, February 16, 2018 - 09:22 am: Edit

Playing over Skype or the like? Once a week sounds good to me.

By Charles Popp (Captnchuck67) on Friday, May 11, 2018 - 02:59 pm: Edit

Looking for a game on Vassal any takers?

By Sean Dzafovic (Sdzafovic) on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 - 10:46 am: Edit

Looking to get back into F&E after a long absence. prefer a Cyberboard game, but I could make Vassal work as well. Sadly, the local usual suspects can no longer commit to a game.

Nice to see you back Sean!
