Hadn't spotted those, thank you. Is there any updates on unity versions on Distant Armada, Battleship Armada and Rumors of War?

I don't know, I don't play Armada, but had seen the modules on w23.

Holden, I often play Starmada Unity(Romulan and Klingon Armada) with 3 or 4 different friends when we are in the mood for large fleet battles, and I am hoping that the next release, slated for sometime this year, is battleships armada unity. I had the nova edition of that module and if has the same list of ships, then you will find many interesting and unexpected units and that release. But I I am assuming that they will probably keep to the same release schedule as previous versions of this game so the battleships module will probably be a bit later. What kind of scenarios or battles do you guys play when you play, and do you play with miniatures? It is interesting to see that your group utilizes Sfb and the Federation commander in the same way that we do, but Federation commander is definitely I remain game. What was your best armada scenario so far? Sorry about all these questions but I’m always fascinated to talk to other players about these games.

Would it be possible to have Daniel create a Starmada/SFB ruleset that is just the required rules to play but with the SFB exceptions and alternate rules put into the text and the unneeded rules removed or replaced?

Currently one needs to read a series of rules and then toss out things like Impact, turn restrictions etc once you get through the full rules.

I think it would be easier to get my friends interested in playing the game if I could just point them towards a PDF that was a concise and consistent set of rules for playing SFB units.

Forwarded to Daniel.

Thanks

Can I also note the Starmada page on the site

http://www.starfleetgames.com/starmada.shtml

Still references the Admiralty and Nova editions of the game with links to each book which are not on the store any more.

As well, you appear to have reused the product numbers for the Starmada books from the Nova editions to the new Unity editions. I was checking a local distributors system for Starmada books and thought I was getting a set if the Unity books because the numbers matched the numbers on the store but I inadvertently ordered another set of Nova books. :-(

Nothing you can do about it now but it might be something to remember if you encounter a version issue like this 8n the future

The must have had it in stock for years.

Yes. Mindsports in Calgary is part distributor and part game hoarder. He has stock of stuff that has been OOP for decades

I emailed Avalance Press about getting some replacement counters for a set from one of their games only to be told that it was OOP for 12 years. And yet Mindsports was able to restock the store with another xopy
