The rules for the base and planet cards were posted by SVC in the Battleforce Expansions topic in November 2004 as a PDF file.
If they could be posted on the website (on the SF Information Network page for example) it would be easier to find them.
I'd like to see the Hydran rules too, and perhaps the dragon card.

Hydran rules were in Captains Log #25 and are also on the starfleetgames.com website.
Go to "Online Resources", then go to Star Fleet Information Network", scroll down til you see SFBF Hydran Fleet Cards and print out the PDF.

Can you play a PF Flotilla card or a Plannet Based Fighters card and have a ship make an attack on the same turn, or does playing one of those cards count as an attack?

Marcus. Playing one of those cards counts as an attack.

One added note though - you can play BOTH Planet Based Fighter cards as a single attack.

I read the Hydran rules. It's kind of boring with no modification for hydran weapons, ONLY using straight Disr and Phot cards. ARE there any plans to modify their weapon rules? I would once again propose, at the very least, a range limitation for fusions, but then again, disrs can be fairly weak, so maybe that wouldn't be helpful. Also, Hellbores could do an extra point to any ship already damaged.
I like the PPD rule for the ISC, and the ESG rules for the Lyrans.

WARNING: New message poster!
I have tried to look for the answer to these questions but I do not see them here.
These are in reguard to the Plant-Based Fighters.
Once an attack is over, and if the fighters survive (5 or fewer damage points scored), what happens to the card? Does it go back into the players hand? Is it discarded? Does it become a part of the players fleet?
If it is discarded, then why are there damage points on the card?
Your clearification on this would be appreciated.

The card is discarded.

And the damage points are there so you can keep track whether 6 points have been reached. Depending on which rules set you're using, it might be possible for more than one ship to fire on them as they come in, and having spots on the card makes it easier to keep track.
