At $4 a turn, I would be interested.
Cost was one of the major reasons I stopped playing it many years ago. I stopped when the price went to $5 a turn.

Paul
You said turns will be submitted by fax or e-mail.
Will turns only be sent out by fax or e-mail?

Ever had one of those weekends when you plan to get great things done, you keep running into problems. Just when you think you got it. Thud. You hit another wall. Well, that was this weekend in a nutshell. I have worked on the site for 8 hours and gotten it only partially going. I can run it fully with no problem locally on my laptop. But I put it up on the server and it doesn't seem to like it. I am going to check something out at work tomorrow and heopfully get this solved. Otherwise, I will need to scrap the back-end of this thing and re-write it. Not a pleasant thought.

The URL is:

Norm,
The Game plan is after it starts each turn will be run every two weeks. No late turns accepted. If it is late you still accumulate income but that is it. Turns will be sent via Email or can be grabbed from the website. The only rules change are the ones that I have previously discussed. Starbase scans are limited to neighborring sectors. All turns will be processed at the same time.

Paul, When are you starting? My touer is in the shop for a hardware upgrade, I won't get it back till the end of next week or the middle of the week after. I will then need to download the Aid, will it be possible for me to get in. I just don't want to use my wifes computer as she has millenium and we have a lot of problems with it.

By Norman Gaither (Afronauts) on Friday, June 10, 2005 - 11:16 am: Edit |
OK got it,
I get my turn vie e-mail or off the site, is this in a printable format? Also do I have to send it in the same way or can I snail mail it back? What about maps?
Norm
By Paul Franz (Andromedan) on Friday, June 10, 2005 - 01:28 pm: Edit |
Norman,
Definitely. I prefer it back the same way. I have a fax machine setup to accept faxes. Snail mail will be accepted but you need to get it to me. As in, the I have it in my hands by the deadline. Maps will be available both via Email and the Website too. You can request a copy anytime. Obviously, the sectors that you can ask for are only those scanned and they will reflect only your last scan.
