Hydran SR: Conversion should be "from LN: 5, from KN 5+2", instead of "from DD:5", since the LN has 2 Hybrid Fighters. C. Tenhoff 14 Jan 09

Hydran SRV: Conversion should be "from LN: 5+6, from KN 5+8", instead of from "DD:5+8", since the LN has 2 Hybrid Fighters. C. Tenhoff 14 Jan 09

Hydran SRV: Conversion should be "from DDS: 3+6", instead of "from DDS:3+8", since the DDS has 2 Hybrid Fighters. C. Tenhoff 14 Jan 09

Hydran SRG: Conversion should be "from LN: 5, from KN 5+2", instead of "from DD:5", since the KN does not have 2 Hybrid Fighters. C. Tenhoff 14 Jan 09

Hydran LNX: Double Conversion of KN to LNX missing. Cost should be "7+6", with double conversion mark. C. Tenhoff 14 Jan 09

Hydran SCX: Cost of Conversion from LN or KN seems to be off by 1. Double Conversion discount would make the costs "from LN: 7+4, from KN: 7+6", with double conversion mark. C. Tenhoff 14 Jan 09.

Hydran KNX: Double Conversion of LN to KNX missing. Cost should be 7, with double conversion mark. C. Tenhoff 14 Jan 09

Hydran LBX: Double Conversion of LC/LM to LBX mssing. Cost should be 7+3, with double conversion mark. C. Tenhoff 14 Jan 09

Hydran MKP: Missing "from NPF: 3+1". This would be inline with the TR->IRQ conversion. C. Tenhoff 14 Jan 09

Hydran DCS: Missing "from MKH: 5+6". This would be inline with the VED->DCS conversion. C. Tenhoff 14 Jan 09

Fed CVA: DN>DNG>CVA=4+[4+30]-1=7+30 [currently SIT cost is 6+30]. Two-step conversions should get a 1 EP discount (437.2). Jeff Coutu 19 January 09

Fed NAE: Add to conversions "From NCL‡: 3". NCL>NCA>NAE=3+1-1=3. This two-step conversion is listed in (437.1) but is not on the SIT. Jeff Coutu 19 January 09

Fed NCC: Conversion cost from NCL should have "(minor)" added since both sub-steps of the two-step conversion each cost 3 EPs or less (437.21). NCL>NCA>NCC=3+2-1=4 (minor). Jeff Coutu 19 January 09

Fed NCV: Add to conversions "From NCL‡: 4+12 (minor)". NCL>NCA>NCV=3+[2+12]-1=4+12 (minor). This two-step conversion is listed in (437.1) but is not on the SIT. Jeff Coutu 19 January 09

Fed NCV: Conversion cost from NVL should have "(minor)" added since both sub-steps of the two-step conversion each cost 3 EPs or less (437.21). This is basically the same as a NCL>NCA>NCV=3+[2+12]-1=[4+12 (minor)] conversion but without the fighter cost so it should also be a minor conversion. Jeff Coutu 19 January 09

Fed NDC: NCL>NCA>NDC=3+2-1=4 (minor) [currently SIT cost is 5]. Two-step conversions should get a 1 EP discount (437.2). Jeff Coutu 19 January 09

Fed NDS: Add to conversions "From NCL‡: 7+12+18". NCL>NCA>NDS=3+[5+12+18]-1=7+12+18. This two-step conversion is listed in (437.1) but is not on the SIT. Jeff Coutu 19 January 09

Fed NHV: Conversion cost from NCL should have "(minor)" added since both sub-steps of the two-step conversion each cost 3 EPs or less (437.21). NCL>NCA>NHV=3+[2+18]-1=4+18 (minor). Jeff Coutu 19 January 09

Fed NSR: Conversion cost from NSC should have "(minor)" added since both sub-steps of the two-step conversion each cost 3 EPs or less (437.21). This is basically the same as a NCL>NCA>NSR=3+5=7 conversion but with a 2 EP deduction on the NCA>NSR for starting as a NSC which makes it minor conversion costing 5. Jeff Coutu 19 January 09

Fed NSR: NCL>NCA>NSR=3+5-1=7 [currently SIT cost is 8]. Two-step conversions should get a 1 EP discount (437.2). Jeff Coutu 19 January 09

Fed SCS: DN+>DNG>SCS=2+[5+48]-1=6+48 [currently SIT cost is 7+48]. Two-step conversions should get a 1 EP discount (437.2). Jeff Coutu 19 January 09

Fed SCS: DN>DNG>SCS=4+[5+48]-1=8+48 [currently SIT cost is 9+48]. Two-step conversions should get a 1 EP discount (437.2). Jeff Coutu 19 January 09

Gorn BCH: Conversion cost from CL should have "(minor)" added since both sub-steps of the two-step conversion each cost 3 EPs or less (437.21). CL>BC>BCH=3+3-1=5 (minor). Jeff Coutu 19 January 09

Gorn BCS: Change conversion "From CVS: (4?) (3?)" to "From CVS: 3". This conversion is part of the two-step conversion CV>CVS>BCS listed in (437.1). Since per the SIT CV>CVS>BCS=5 and CV>CVS=3, I derived CVS>BCS=3 [3+3-1=5]. Jeff Coutu 19 January 09

Gorn BCS: Conversion cost from CV should have "(minor)" added since both sub-steps of the two-step conversion each cost 3 EPs or less (437.21). CV>CVS>BCS=3+3-1=5 (minor). The CVS to BCS conversion is listed o the SIT as “(4?) (3?)”. I assumed a cost of 3 since the CV>CVS>BCS conversion cost on the SIT is 5 [3+3-1=5]. Jeff Coutu 19 January 09

Gorn BCV: Conversion cost from BC should have "(minor)" added since both sub-steps of the two-step conversion each cost 3 EPs or less (437.21). BC>BCH>BCV=3+[2+12]-1=4+12 (minor). Jeff Coutu 19 January 09

Gorn BDP: Conversion cost from SC should have "(minor)" added since both sub-steps of the two-step conversion each cost 3 EPs or less (437.21). SC>BDS>BDP=3+3-1=5 (minor). Jeff Coutu 19 January 09

Gorn BDSX: DD>BDX>BDSX=[6‡]+3-1=8 [currently SIT cost is 7]. Two-step conversions should get a 1 EP discount (437.2). This two-step conversion includes another two-step conversion (DD>BDX) so maybe it should not get another 1 EP discount and should cost 9? Jeff Coutu 19 January 09

Gorn BDSX: SC>BDS>BDSX=3+5-1=7 [currently SIT cost is 6]. Two-step conversions should get a 1 EP discount (437.2). Jeff Coutu 19 January 09

Gorn BF: Conversion cost from CL should have "(minor)" added since both sub-steps of the two-step conversion each cost 3 EPs or less (437.21). CL>BC>BF=3+3-1=5 (minor). Jeff Coutu 19 January 09

Gorn CCH: Conversion cost from CL should have "(minor)" added since both sub-steps of the two-step conversion each cost 3 EPs or less (437.21). CL>BC>CCH=3+2-1=4 (minor). Jeff Coutu 19 January 09

Gorn CMF: HD>CM>CMF=3+2-1=4 (minor) [currently SIT cost is 5 (minor)]. Two-step conversions should get a 1 EP discount (437.2). Jeff Coutu 19 January 09

Gorn CMV: Conversion cost from HD should have "(minor)" added since both sub-steps of the two-step conversion each cost 3 EPs or less (437.21). HD>CM>CMV=3+[2+12]-1=4+12 (minor). Jeff Coutu 19 January 09

Gorn MCC: Conversion cost from HD should have "(minor)" added since both sub-steps of the two-step conversion each cost 3 EPs or less (437.21). HD>CM>MCC=3+1=4 (minor); [no -1 discount per SIT ruling posted on 26 Jan 08]. Jeff Coutu 19 January 09

Gorn MSR: Conversion cost from HDS should have "(minor)" added since both sub-steps of the two-step conversion each cost 3 EPs or less (437.21). This is basically the same as a HD>CM>MSR=3+5=7 conversion but with a 2 EP deduction on the CM>MSR for starting as a HDS which makes it minor conversion costing 5. Jeff Coutu 19 January 09

Gorn MSRV: Conversion cost from HDS should have "(minor)" added since both sub-steps of the two-step conversion each cost 3 EPs or less (437.21). This is basically the same as a HD>CM>MSRV=3+[5+4]-1=7+4 conversion but with a 2 EP deduction on the CM>MSRV for starting as a HDS which makes it minor conversion costing 5+4. Jeff Coutu 19 January 09

Hydran CHY: Add to conversions "From HR‡: 5 (minor)". HR>MHK>CHY=[3+1]+3-1=5 (minor). Both HR and CHY have 3 fighter factors so no fighter cost for the conversion. This two-step conversion is listed in (437.1) "CL>NCA>CHY" but is not on the SIT. Jeff Coutu 19 January 09

Hydran CHY: Add to conversions "From TR‡: 5+4 (minor)". TR>IRQ>CHY=[3+1]+[3+3]-1=5+4 (minor). This two-step conversion is listed in (437.1) "CL>NCA>CHY" but is not on the SIT. Jeff Coutu 19 January 09

Hydran DWE: Move the CU conversion up one line to the HN line since it is also a two-step conversion per (437.1) "FF>DW>DWE". CU>DWH>DWE=2+[1+2]-1=2+1. Jeff Coutu 19 January 09

Hydran HDW: Conversion cost from CU should have "(minor)" added since both sub-steps of the two-step conversion each cost 3 EPs or less (437.21). CU>DWH>HDW=2+[3+3]-1=4+3 (minor). Jeff Coutu 19 January 09

Hydran MKH: Add to conversions "From HR‡: 4+16 (minor)". HR>MHK>MKH=[3+1]+[2+15]-1=4+16 (minor). This two-step conversion is listed in (437.1) "CL>NCA>MKH" but is not on the SIT. Jeff Coutu 19 January 09

Hydran MKH: Add to conversions "From IRQ: 2+18". This conversion is part of the two-step conversion TR>IRQ>MKH listed in (437.1) "CL>NCA>MKH" and so it should be on the SIT. Since MHK>MKH=2+15, I figured the base cost of IRQ>MKH would also be 2. Jeff Coutu 19 January 09

Hydran MKH: Add to conversions "From TR‡: 4+19 (minor)". TR>IRQ>MKH=[3+1]+[2+18 (assumed)]-1=4+19 (minor). This two-step conversion is listed in (437.1) "CL>NCA>MKH" but is not on the SIT. The IRQ>MKH is not listed on the SIT but since MHK>MKH=2+15, I figured IRQ>MKH=2+18. Jeff Coutu 19 January 09

Hydran MKI: Conversion cost from IRQ should have "(minor)" added since both sub-steps of the two-step conversion each cost 3 EPs or less (437.21). IRQ>MHK>MKI=[3+3]+2-1=4+2 (minor). Jeff Coutu 19 January 09

Hydran MKV: Add to conversions "From HR‡: 4+15 (minor)". HR>MHK>MKV=[3+1]+[2+14]-1=4+15 (minor). This two-step conversion is listed in (437.1) "CL>NCA>MKV" but is not on the SIT. Jeff Coutu 19 January 09

Hydran MKV: Add to conversions "From IRQ: 2+17". This conversion is part of the two-step conversion TR>IRQ>MKV listed in (437.1) "CL>NCA>MKV" and so it should be on the SIT. Since MHK>MKV=2+14, I figured the base cost of IRQ>MKV would also be 2. Jeff Coutu 19 January 09

Hydran MKV: Add to conversions "From TR‡: 4+18 (minor)". TR>IRQ>MKV=[3+1]+[2+17 (assumed)]-1=4+18 (minor). This two-step conversion is listed in (437.1) "CL>NCA>MKV" but is not on the SIT. The IRQ>MKV is not listed on the SIT but since MHK>MKV=2+14, I figured IRQ>MKV=2+17. Jeff Coutu 19 January 09

Hydran MTG: Conversion cost from HR should have "(minor)" added since both sub-steps of the two-step conversion each cost 3 EPs or less (437.21). HR>MHK>MTG=[3+1]+3-1=5 (minor). Jeff Coutu 19 January 09

Hydran MTG: Conversion cost from TR should have "(minor)" added since both sub-steps of the two-step conversion each cost 3 EPs or less (437.21). TR>IRQ>MTG=[3+1]+[3+1]-1=5+2 (minor). Jeff Coutu 19 January 09

Hydran VED: Conversion cost from NCV should have "(minor)" added since both sub-steps of the two-step conversion each cost 3 EPs or less (437.21). This is basically the same as a TR>IRQ>VED=[3+1]+[5+15]-1=7+16 conversion but with a [2+12] EP deduction on the IRQ>VED for starting as a NCV which makes it minor conversion costing 5+4. Jeff Coutu 19 January 09

Klingon DWD: Conversion cost from D5S should have "(minor)" added since both sub-steps of the two-step conversion each cost 3 EPs or less (437.21). This is basically the same as a D5>D5W>DWD=3+3=5 (minor) conversion but with a 1 EP reduction for already starting as a D5S so it should be a minor conversion. Jeff Coutu 19 January 09

Klingon DWN: D5>D5W>DWN=3+[2+DIP]-1=4 (minor) + DIP [currently SIT cost is 5+DIP]. Two-step conversions should get a 1 EP discount (437.2). Jeff Coutu 19 January 09

Klingon DWV: Conversion cost from D5 should have "(minor)" added since both sub-steps of the two-step conversion each cost 3 EPs or less (437.21). D5>D5W>DWV=3+[2+12]-1=4+12 (minor). Jeff Coutu 19 January 09

Klingon F6S: Conversion cost from F5 should have "(minor)" added since both sub-steps of the two-step conversion each cost 3 EPs or less (437.21). F5>F6>F6S=3+2-1=4 (minor). Jeff Coutu 19 January 09

Kzinti BCS: CVL>BCS=8‡ [currently SIT cost is 8+6‡]. No fighter factors are added during this conversion. The CVL has 4 fighter factors and the BCS has 3 fighter factors. Jeff Coutu 19 January 09

Kzinti BCV: Conversion from CVL is missing the two-step conversion symbol (‡). This is a two-step conversion per (437.1), CVL>CV*>BCV=[4+4]+1-1=4+4. *Listed as CVS in (437.1) Jeff Coutu 19 January 09

Kzinti NCC: Conversion cost from CM should have "(minor)" added since both sub-steps of the two-step conversion each cost 3 EPs or less (437.21). CM>NCA>NCC=3+2-1=4 (minor). Jeff Coutu 19 January 09

Kzinti NCD: Conversion cost from CM should have "(minor)" added since both sub-steps of the two-step conversion each cost 3 EPs or less (437.21). CM>NCA>NCD=3+3-1=5 (minor). Jeff Coutu 19 January 09

Kzinti NRV: Conversion cost from MSC should have "(minor)" added since both sub-steps of the two-step conversion each cost 3 EPs or less (437.21). MSC>NSC>NRV=3+[3+4]-1=5+4 (minor). Jeff Coutu 19 January 09

Kzinti NSR: Conversion cost from MSC should have "(minor)" added since both sub-steps of the two-step conversion each cost 3 EPs or less (437.21). MSC>NSC>NSR=3+3-1=5 (minor). Jeff Coutu 19 January 09

Lyran CSV: Conversion cost from SC should have "(minor)" added since both sub-steps of the two-step conversion each cost 3 EPs or less (437.21). This is basically the same as a DD>CW>CSV=3+[5+16]-1=7+16 conversion but with a 2 EP deduction on the CW>CSV for starting as a SC which makes it minor conversion costing 5+16. Jeff Coutu 19 January 09

Lyran CVA: CA>DN>CVA=6+[4+24]-1=9+24 [currently SIT cost is 7+24]. Two-step conversions should get a 1 EP discount (437.2). Jeff Coutu 19 January 09

Lyran CVH: Conversion cost from DD should have "(minor)" added since both sub-steps of the two-step conversion each cost 3 EPs or less (437.21). DD>CW>CVH=3+[2+16]-1=4+16 (minor). Jeff Coutu 19 January 09

Lyran CVL: Conversion cost from DD should have "(minor)" added since both sub-steps of the two-step conversion each cost 3 EPs or less (437.21). DD>CW>CVL=3+[2+12]-1=4+12 (minor). Jeff Coutu 19 January 09

Lyran CWS: Conversion cost from DD should have "(minor)" added since both sub-steps of the two-step conversion each cost 3 EPs or less (437.21). DD>CW>CWS=3+3-1=5 (minor). Jeff Coutu 19 January 09

Lyran CWS: Conversion cost from SC should have "(minor)‡" added. This is basically the same as a DD>CW>CWS=3+3=5 (minor) conversion but with EP reduction for starting as a SC so it should be a minor conversion. I am making the assumption that SC>CWS is a two-step conversion (like SC>CSV is) but it is not marked as such as on the SIT. Jeff Coutu 19 January 09

Lyran DNH: CA>DN>DNH=6+2-1=7‡ [currently SIT cost is 8]. The SIT does not list this as a two-step conversion but it is listed as one in (437.1). Two-step conversions should get a 1 EP discount (437.2). Jeff Coutu 19 January 09

Lyran DWG: Conversion cost from FF should have "(minor)" added since both sub-steps of the two-step conversion each cost 3 EPs or less (437.21). FF>DW>DWG=3+2-1=4 (minor). Jeff Coutu 19 January 09

Lyran DWS: Conversion cost from FF should have "(minor)" added since both sub-steps of the two-step conversion each cost 3 EPs or less (437.21). FF>DW>DWS=3+2-1=4 (minor). Jeff Coutu 19 January 09

Lyran DWV: FF>DW>DWV=3+[1+8]-1=3+8 [currently SIT cost is 4+8]. Two-step conversions should get a 1 EP discount (437.2). Jeff Coutu 19 January 09

Lyran HDW: Conversion cost from FF should have "(minor)" added since both sub-steps of the two-step conversion each cost 3 EPs or less (437.21). FF>DW>HDW=3+[2+1]-1=4+1 (minor). Jeff Coutu 19 January 09

Lyran LTT: Conversion cost from DD should have "(minor)" added since both sub-steps of the two-step conversion each cost 3 EPs or less (437.21). DD>CW>LTT=3+3-1=5 (minor). Jeff Coutu 19 January 09

Lyran NCF: Conversion cost from CW should have "(minor)" added since both sub-steps of the two-step conversion each cost 3 EPs or less (437.21). CW>NCA>NCF=3+2-1=4 (minor). Jeff Coutu 19 January 09

Lyran NCV: Add to conversions "From DD‡: 6+12". DD>NCA>NCV=[5 (minor)]+[2+12]-1=6+12. This two-step conversion is listed in (437.1) but is not on the SIT. Jeff Coutu 19 January 09

Lyran NDS: Add to conversions "From DD‡: 9+12". DD>NCA>NDS=[5 (minor)]+[5+12]-1=9+12. This two-step conversion is listed in (437.1) but is not on the SIT. Jeff Coutu 19 January 09

Lyran NTG: CW>NCA>NTG=3+2-1=4 (minor) [currently SIT cost is 5]. Two-step conversions should get a 1 EP discount (437.2). Jeff Coutu 19 January 09

Lyran SCS: Change CV>DN>SCS to 8‡ [currently listed as 12‡ on the SIT]. The cost is higher than the CA>DN>SCS=10+12‡ non fighter cost (i.e., 8 vs 10). This cost was set in the SIT archive notes on 30 July 2008 to 12 EPs. I do not think that anybody looked that the SSDs at that time. On the SSDs, the outer hulls on the CV vs SCS are almost identical (you need to convert 2xPH3, 1xEMER to 2xPH1, 2xFLAG). The CA vs SCS would have to do the same conversions on the outer hulls as the CV plus 8xHULLS to 14xSHUTTLE. The center hull for both the CA and CV are identical so would require the same conversion. I therefore suggest the cost should be changed to 8. Jeff Coutu 19 January 09

Romulan FHB: Conversion cost from SP should have "(minor)" added since both sub-steps of the two-step conversion each cost 3 EPs or less (437.21). SP>FH>FHB=3+[1+16]=4+16 (minor); [no -1 discount per SIT ruling posted on 14 Aug 08]. Jeff Coutu 19 January 09

Romulan KDS: Conversion cost from D5 should have "(minor)" added since both sub-steps of the two-step conversion each cost 3 EPs or less (437.21). D5>KDR>KDS=2+3-1=4 (minor). Jeff Coutu 19 January 09

Romulan KH: Conversion cost from FH should have "(minor)" added since both sub-steps of the two-step conversion each cost 3 EPs or less (437.21). FH>NH>KH=2+3-1=4 (minor). Jeff Coutu 19 January 09

Romulan NH: Conversion cost from SP should have "(minor)" added since both sub-steps of the two-step conversion each cost 3 EPs or less (437.21). SP>FH>NH=3+2=5 (minor); [no -1 discount since SIT has "confirmed"]. Jeff Coutu 19 January 09

Romulan NHB: Add to conversions "From FH‡: 3+16". FH>NH>NHB=2+[1+16]=3+16 [suggest no -1 discount for double conversion just like SP>FH>FHB does not get one per SIT ruling posted on 14 Aug 08]. This two-step conversion is listed in (437.1) but is not on the SIT. Jeff Coutu 19 January 09

Romulan NHB: Add to conversions "From FHB: 2". FH>NH cost 2 so FHB>NHB should also cost 2. This conversion is part of the two-step conversion FHB>NHB>SUB listed in (437.1) and so it should be on the SIT. Jeff Coutu 19 January 09

Romulan NHB: SPB>FHB>NHB=3+[2 (assumed)]=5 (minor); [currently SIT cost is 4]. This conversion is the same conversion as SP>FH>NH and should cost the same (i.e., neither should get the 1 EP discount for two-step conversion). The FHB>NHB conversion is not listed on the SIT but should cost the same as FH>NH=2. Jeff Coutu 19 January 09

Romulan SUB: Add to conversions "From FHB‡: 4+8 (minor)". FHB>NHB>SUB=[2 (assumed)]+[3+8 (assumed)]-1=4+8 (minor). This two-step conversion is listed in (437.1) but is not on the SIT. FHB>NHB is not listed on the SIT but should cost 2 since FH>NH=2. NHB>SUB is not listed on the SIT but should cost the same as [NH>SUB=4+24] subtract [NH>NHB=1+16] which equals 3+8. Jeff Coutu 19 January 09

Romulan SUB: Add to conversions "From NHB: 3+8"; I derived by: [NH>SUB=4+24] subtract [NH>NHB=1+16] which equals 3+8. This conversion is part of the two-step conversion FHB>NHB>SUB listed in (437.1) and so it should be on the SIT. Jeff Coutu 19 January 09

Romulan SUB: SPB>FHB>SUB=3+[4+8‡ (minor), assumed]=7+8 [currently SIT cost is 5+8]. The FHB>SUB is not listed on the SIT but I assume it costs "4+8‡ (minor)" [I have another entry for that conversion and do not repeat the reasoning for the cost here]. I did not include -1 EP two-step conversion cost reduction because the SP>FH>NH conversion does not get it so I assume this conversion should not get it either. Jeff Coutu 19 January 09

Romulan TH: Add to conversions "From FH‡: 7+8". FH>NH>TH=2+[6+8]-1=7+8. This two-step conversion is listed in (437.1) but is not on the SIT. Jeff Coutu 19 January 09

Tholian CC: Add to conversions "From 2xPC‡: 5". 2xPC>CA>CC=4+2-1=5. This two-step conversion is listed in (437.1) but is not on the SIT. Jeff Coutu 19 January 09

Tholian CSV: Add to conversions "From 2xPC‡: 7+16". 2xPC>CW>CSV=3+[5+16]-1=7+16. This two-step conversion is listed in (437.1) but is not on the SIT. Jeff Coutu 19 January 09

Tholian CVA: 2xPC>CA>CVA=4+[3+24]-1=6+24‡ [currently SIT cost is 7+24]. The SIT does not list this as a two-step conversion but it is listed as one in (437.1). Two-step conversions should get a 1 EP discount (437.2). Jeff Coutu 19 January 09

Tholian CVH: Add to conversions "From 2xPC‡: 5+28". 2xPC>CA>CVH=4+[2+28]-1=5+28. This two-step conversion is listed in (437.1) but is not on the SIT. Jeff Coutu 19 January 09

Tholian CWE: Add to conversions "From 2xPC‡: 3". 2xPC>CW>CWE=3+1-1=3. This two-step conversion is listed in (437.1) but is not on the SIT. Jeff Coutu 19 January 09

Tholian CWS: Add to conversions "From 2xPC‡: 5 (minor)". 2xPC>CW>CWS=3+3-1=5 (minor). This two-step conversion is listed in (437.1) but is not on the SIT. Jeff Coutu 19 January 09

Tholian CWV: Add to conversions "From 2xPC‡: 4+12 (minor)". 2xPC>CW>CWV=3+[2+12]-1=4+12 (minor). This two-step conversion is listed in (437.1) but is not on the SIT. Jeff Coutu 19 January 09

Tholian DDE: Add to conversions "From PC‡: 3". PC>DD>DDE=3+1-1=3. This two-step conversion is listed in (437.1) but is not on the SIT. Jeff Coutu 19 January 09

Tholian DDS: Conversion cost from PC should have "(minor)" added since both sub-steps of the two-step conversion each cost 3 EPs or less (437.21). PC>DD>DDS=3+2-1=4 (minor). Jeff Coutu 19 January 09

Tholian LTT: Add to conversions "From 2xPC‡: 5 (minor)". 2xPC>CW>LTT=3+3-1=5 (minor). This two-step conversion is listed in (437.1) but is not on the SIT. Jeff Coutu 19 January 09

Tholian PFW: Add to conversions "From 2xPC‡: 7". 2xPC>CW>PFW=3+5-1=7. This two-step conversion is listed in (437.1) but is not on the SIT. Jeff Coutu 19 January 09

Tholian SCX: PC>DDX>SCX=[6‡]+3-1=8 [currently SIT cost is 7]. Two-step conversions should get a 1 EP discount (437.2). This two-step conversion includes another two-step conversion (PC>DDX) so maybe it should not get another 1 EP discount and should cost 9? Jeff Coutu 19 January 09

Tholian SCX: SC>SCX=7‡ [currently SIT cost is 6‡]. PC>DDX>SCX=[6‡]+3-1=8; reduced by 1 EP for starting as an SC (since PC>SC=1) =7. Note that the SIT currently lists the PC>DDX>SCX as costing 7; if that price is not changed then SC>SCX also should not be changed. Jeff Coutu 19 January 09

Kzinti CSV Y175 Scout (Medium) Carrier, EW=2, heavy fighters. YIS should be Y178 as heavy fighters are not available for the Kzinti:'s until Turn #20, Spring Y178, per (530.0) CL36. Thomas Mathews 17 April 2009

Kzinti CSV Y175 Scout (Medium) Carrier, EW=2, heavy fighters. YIS Is correct based on the YIS Y175 listed in Mod G3. The LAS Hvy Ftr is also a Y175 avail in G3. F&E generally reflects squadron level/large scale deployment. Ryan J Opel, 17 Apr 2009.

Thomas, don't forget to "sign and date" SIT update suggestions. Helps us sort out what's been done and not done.

By Matthew G. Smith (Mattsmith) on Saturday, April 18, 2009 - 12:47 pm: Edit

Thomas,

Read the 530.0 material at the beginning of the CL36 article.

The 4th paragraph has the following:

Quote:

Certain carriers (such as CSVs and ACSs) which are designed only to operate heavy fighters have earlier dates on the SIT and can be produced, within the above limits, as of those dates. This does not change the heavy fighter introduction date, which defines the date pods are available, the deployment of heavy fighters on bases, etc.

Would that mean that there should be a different fighter factor for using standard weight fighters?

KZINTI CL: AO 2003 and the 2006 SIT allowed Kzinti CL to be substituted for a new DD or CM. The specific SIT text was the following: "For DD/CM: 6."

The 2008 SIT only allows a CL to be substituted for a CM. The specific SIT text said the following: "Base Hull Type (CL) § Only one CL or DD per turn can be subbed for a CM."

Please restore the 2003/2006 status quo. The 2008 change removed the possibility of substituting a CLD for a Kzinti DD in the first few turns of the General war and adversely affects an already bad early General War Alliance EW situation.

Are their plans for more SIT updates before Origins, or are we going with what we've got?

By Daniel G. Knipfer (Dgknipfer) on Saturday, May 02, 2009 - 12:20 am: Edit

The SITs have all been updated over the last year and I think it's way too close to Origins to bug SVC for SITS now. I believe we're going with what we have.

By Steve Cole (Stevecole) on Saturday, May 02, 2009 - 11:47 am: Edit

I have no plans to do more SIT updates before Origins and doubt I will do more this year. If I can pry F&E time out of the schedule, it goes into ISC war.

By Lawrence Bergen (Lar) on Saturday, May 02, 2009 - 01:06 pm: Edit

Got it. I was just wondering if I should go ahead and print the SITs I need for Origins. Didn't want to waste the ink/paper if a new one or two were going to appear.

By Chuck Strong (Raider) on Saturday, May 30, 2009 - 10:14 pm: Edit

Guys:

Please be careful with your SIT reports to make sure they are formatted properly. I'm spend more time correcting these errors then I should. This is an example of one that would NOT be sorted correctly because they subject unit is not listed first and thus sorted under SBX:

ISC SBX to PSBX: Need upgrade cost.

THe proper format is:

ISC PSBX: SIT needs to list an upgrade cost from a SBX. STRONG - 30 May 2009

Thank you,
Chuck
