Let me check my data at home. But I think AO replaces the Home Fleet FH with a FFH. If not one of them gets dropped from Home.

By Thomas Mathews (Turtle) on Tuesday, May 06, 2014 - 06:13 am: Edit

Ryan, you are correct. The FFH replaces a home fleet FH.

By Pete DiMitri (Petercool) on Tuesday, May 06, 2014 - 07:57 am: Edit

I'm looking at the OB. It doesn't replace an FH, it's added to the home fleet. The Roms don't start with any FHs, they are added in PWC.

By Ryan Opel (Ryan) on Tuesday, May 06, 2014 - 09:00 am: Edit

That might be an error in the master OB doc. Check to see what AO says. I'm going to take a look myself tonight in both AO and the new set I'm working on right now.

By Ryan Opel (Ryan) on Tuesday, May 06, 2014 - 11:35 am: Edit

Congrats Pete.

You have found what is probably a 10 year error in the Romulan OB. Their is no spots to build both a FH and FFH in the Home Fleet in the schedule (no empire is able tp direct build it's NCA the first year of availability) and AO already replaces a DN with a DNL the FH should be replaced by the FFH in the AO build schedule.

ISC ECONOMICS:

Annex 753.0 lists 8 minor planets in the ISC capital, while Annex 759.0 only shows only 6. (Nick Samaras July 2, 2014)

Annex 764: Delete Orion DW entry, there are no Orion DWLs. (Nick Samaras July 2, 2014)

By Marc Elwinger (Blades) on Wednesday, August 13, 2014 - 02:16 pm: Edit

It has been noted that Annex 753 and Annex 759 differ about the number of planets at the ISC capital. I note that the race Q'Naabian is also missing a starting planet at the capital.

Assuming Annex 753 is correct, is it possible that the missing planets in Annex 759 is a missing system where the major planet for the Q'Naabian and a minor planet in their system?

Qnabbia is not in the capital hex. It southwest, one hex out.

Out of curiosity, does anybody know if there is any intention of ever gathering the information in this topic and formally publishing errata for ISC Wars? It seems strange to me that ISC Wars has been out for three years now, and as far as I know, there has never been any errata published for it.

The following items per Chuck Strong's request:

(324.11) "To qualify for an echelon formation, the Battle Force must include six ISC ships" should read: "To qualify for an echelon formation, the Battle Force must include six ISC ships including the PPD armed Flagship (324.14)". Clarification of existing rule. Thomas Mathews 13 Jan 2015

(324.111) "Battle Forces of six or seven ships" should read: "Battle Forces with a minimum of six ships". Clarify that a small echelon force can have 6 or more ships only if the flagship is PPD armed under (324.11) and (324.14). Thomas Mathews 13 Jan 2015

(324.112) "Battle Forces of eight or nine ships" should read: "Battle Forces with a minimum of eight ships". Clarify that a medium echelon force can have a minimum of eight ships if the flagship and one other ship are PPD armed. Thomas Mathews 13 Jan 2015

(625.E433) There are some disagreement between ISC War and Winds of Fire (617.B1) as to what bases are still standing. In WoF the Kzinti have rebuilt BATS in 1704, 1902, and 1805 and have MBs in 1304, 1605, and 1803. Additionally, the additional defenses at Kzintai and the rest of the 1401 planets aren't mentioned. I can see the Coalition being able to take out some of these but some of these, especially the northern FED border BATS should still be around. Ryan J Opel 29 Nov 15

This technically isn't an errata item per se, at least not yet. But in light of Minor Empires' ongoing review process, I wanted to ask if this topic is better off considering here, there, or perhaps elsewhere.

The current crop of scenarios being presented in the pre-final ME rulebook do not include the ability for the ISC, Tholians, and Seltorians to expand upon the placeholder data published in ISC War's (625.C22). No historical Spring Y186 OOB yet exists for the Tribunal force, akin to that offered to the Holdfast in ISC War's (707.0); and no scenario rules yet allow for the Echelon of Judgement to strike directly at the Hive Ship Burning Torch of Vengeance, as shown in (SH2462.0) INTO THE HIVE from SFB Module X1R.

Since it's looking like there may not be scope to address this in the crop of scenarios set for ME, and since it has been suggested over there that a future revision of the (617.0) WINDS OF FIRE scenario may account for the historical arrival of the Seltorian expedition, I was wondering: would it be best to wait for a potential future revision of ISC War itself, in which one could then allow for the Torch to be extinguished (and for the Tholians and Seltorians to "pick things up" at Spring Y186 while waiting for Cordon Charlie to roll in that autumn)? Or would this sort of thing better work in, say, a future issue of Captain's Log (or a Supplemental File), akin to how the playtest ISC reprisal at Tibernia IV is listed in (6RCW.24) from CL50SF?

I should note that I don't wish to delve too deeply into this topic right now. But in the longer term, I was wondering if it might be worth revisiting at some later point.

Perhaps this should be in the general F&E topic if it is not an after action report of ISC WAR?
