Rule 302.617(e): add a rule cross-reference to the "free Directed Damage" parenthetical and the double dagger symbol that is used to designate items that are in one of the expansions. I don't have the applicable expansion, otherwise I would have included the rule reference.

The rule says “…The requirements are stated in order of priority; in the case of a conflict, each prioriy has primacy over the priorities below it. …”

(309.21) small typo, double negative to correct in green and a small addition in blue.

Current rule:
(309.21) SHIPS AND FACTORS: No more than three drone bombardment ships (which could be twelve or more, or fewer, total bombardment factors) may participate (outside of the Battle Force) in any Combat Round. This cannot be not increased by Command Points.

Probably should be:
(309.21) SHIPS AND FACTORS: No more than three drone bombardment ships (which could be twelve or more, or fewer, total bombardment factors) may participate (outside of the Battle Force) in any Combat Round. This limit may not be increased by Command Points or Admirals.

Unimportant sidebar two cents: I do find it a little odd in some instances from the support echelon, specifically carriers feeding fighter forward and troops fed from the support line by troop ships, can be fed as individual factors whereas drone ships are limited by the hulls...but hey that's the way it is.

I fail to understand how this helps explain anything. Three options, each can be true. Less than 12, exactly 12, or more than 12??!?? Wasted ink unless it means something in context with the surrounding rules, in which case it is poorly worded.

I recommend striking the first parenthetical here altogether. If you do that, you might as well remove the parens from the second parenthetical phrase as it would read better without it.

For what it’s worth, I agree with Lawrence on the highlighted phrase in the orinigal post.

I would add a sentence or example clarifying that under retreat priority 3 (302.733), the supply situation is evaluated as if the ships were already in each of the potential retreat hexes. That is, compare the various retreat options by asking: if the ships retreat to hex A, what is the supply situation; if they retreat to hex B, what is the supply situation, etc.

Reason: Aux Drone Ships cannot pursue as they are considered to be slow units.
