(702.0) Third Fleet: (Y186 OoB) The crippled list includes "...HDW, 6xDW, 4xDW, 2xFF" Is there supposed to be 10 crippled DWs, or is one of those misdesignated, or is it an extra listing? (Perhaps 6xDD, 4xDW, given the order used elsewhere? Though that seems an excessive number of DDs.) -James Lowry 12/15/2011
STRONG: There are TWO typos in the Federation Third Fleet CRIPPLED OOB: Change "3xNCA" to read "2xNCA"; Delete the first instance of "6xDW" -- the "4xDW" remains as correct. 16 Dec 2011
EDITOR'S NOTE: The Fed 3rd and 6th Fleets were designed to be equal in ship COUNT -- as was the 4th and 5th Fleets.
FOBS NOTE: Done

(703.0) Southern Fleet: (Y186 OoB) The crippled carriers include "[CVT+2xF5E]". Is this a CVT, or CVT+? (Which would be.... '[CVT++2xF5E]'; I think we need a better nomenclature....) Curious because of the strong likelyhood of it getting picked up as a typo, and the fact that a non-improved CVT would seem improbable. -James Lowry 18 Dec 2011
As a general note, the carrier escorts seem a little blander than I was expecting. Notably, I'm not seeing any of the NCA-based heavy escorts, and I was expecting to see a couple. Of course, I don't have R10, so I don't know if they're all considered UNV.

(703.0) Southern Fleet: (Y186 OoB): TYPO: The Klingon CVT listed is a CVT+. STRONG - 20 Dec 2011
(703.0) Home Fleet: (Y186 OoB): CHANGE: Replace the Klingon AD5 listed with the C8S to an ADW. Rationale: Correcting author oversight -- there should be one ADW that survived the General War. STRONG - 20 Dec 2011

(702.0) First (Home) Fleet: (Y186 OoB) The auxiliary listing includes the "LVH", which is not in a published module, nor appears in the Master SITs. (Aux F101 carrier?) -James Lowry 20 Dec 2011
(703.0) Home Fleet: (Y186 OoB) Auxiliary listing includes the "LAH", which is not listed in the Klingon MSIT. (Aux heavy fighter carrier?) Similarly, the "SAH" appears in the Northern and Southern Reserve fleets. -James Lowry 20 Dec 2011
(704.0) Third Star Legion: (Y186 OoB) The crippled carrier list includes a "SKV", this ship has not appeared in any product and is not in the Master SIT, nor is it listed as a 'future' ship, like several others in the OoB. I presume it is an advanced form of the SKB, but am not sure. -James Lowry 20 Dec 2011
(704.0) various: (Y186 OoB) There are several instances of the "SKR" appearing in the carrier sections of different fleets. I believe this is the FCR variant of the SK, which has not been published in a module yet, but is not noted as such. -James Lowry 20 Dec 2011
Also, is there a good source for the proposed statistics for these ships, and the ones that are marked 'future' in the OoB (F-DVA, R-SUU, R-VHK, T-NSCS)? I would like to provide them in an extension for the Vassal module.

(704.0) Third Star Legion: (Y186 OoB) James Lowry's report a of a listing of a crippled "SKV" is in error as their is no SKV on the OOB. NOTE: Their is a crippled SPV listed on the OOB which is available in AO. No correction is required. STRONG - 21 Dec 2011

(704.0) Fourth Star Legion: (Y186 OoB) Crippled list includes "2xKWR" and "KWS", which are not on the master Romulan SIT. (D5W conversions?) - James Lowry 12/22/2011

(704.0) Fourth Star Legion: (Y186 OoB): CHANGE "2xKWR" to read "2xKDR {future 2xKWR}". CHANGE "KWS" to read "KDS {future KWS}". Rationale: The KWRs and KWS are historical conversions of the three KDRs from the Klingons (see SFB Module R10) and are currently without counters in F&E at this time. STRONG - 22 Dec 2011

(706.0) General HQ: (Y186 OoB) The OoB gives the Gorn one REPR and 3xR-POD. However, the Gorns normally get two REPR, and receive three repair pods in addition to the normal one. Since there is currently no way to lose these in combat, I suggest this should be 2xREPR and 4xR-POD. -James Lowry 24 Dec 2011

Just got my copy of ISC Wars - great product! Have a problem with the Gorn OOB in that they have no MB's or OPB's. Makes it difficult for them to score victory points. If this has been sorted out elsewhere then I apologise and can someone point me in the right direction.
By Stewart W Frazier (Frazikar2) on Sunday, March 11, 2012 - 09:08 pm: Edit
Hmmm, you're right - off the top I'd say place one OPB in each fleet except the seventh, it gets an MB...
By Graham Stewart Wardle (Tasmerlin) on Thursday, March 15, 2012 - 02:30 am: Edit
Thanks for the reply Stewart. An OPB for the Fourth Fleet (Off-map) seems a bit generous though. Meanwhile, I am trying to understand rule 625.542. Can't help thinking that it should read "At the end of Fall Y185". The way it reads at present it looks like the non-aligned powers can run a PHASE 1B for Fall 185 as well as Spring 186? In Cordon Yankee am I correct in assuming that the PEZ runs from 5005 to 5901 and then 5901 to 6102? Also, the CEZ runs from 4905 to 5701 and includes 6101? Sorry if this is not the right area for these questions or that they have been answered elsewhere (I'm only up to CL41 at present)

(702.0) Third Fleet: Change "SWAC-H" to "SWAC-E3" so it matches text on the counter and also how it is listed in the Federation First (Home) Fleet. Jeff Coutu - 26 Apr 2012

(702.0) Sixth Fleet: Change "SWAC-H" to "SWAC-E3" so it matches text on the counter and also how it is listed in the Federation First (Home) Fleet. Jeff Coutu - 26 Apr 2012

(706.0) Third Fleet: Incorrect rule reference; change (625.Y1) to (625.Y21). Jeff Coutu - 26 Apr 2012
(713.4) TP Pod: Change Year from Y175 to Y160. Both the SIT and SFB Module G3 (R13.24) list the Year in service as Y160. Jeff Coutu - 26 Apr 2012
(713.4) Tug Paired Pods: Change 2PFT to 2PFP to match name on counter. Jeff Coutu - 26 Apr 2012
Update to Earlier Rules on page 2 (525.452): This update should have been for (523.452) not (525.452). Jeff Coutu - 26 Apr 2012
(753.0) Change table to match how it is in F&E 2010; i.e., change off map minor planets from 1 to 2, capital minor planets from 8 to 7, off map major planets from 2 to 1, and capital major planets from 7 to 8. While the total number of major and minor planets does not change it will then match up with previous rules (such as F&E 2010) and how it is displayed on the large scale map. Jeff Coutu - 26 Apr 2012
(754.0) Add "ISC tugs get the benefit of command rating bonuses from only one pod at a time." In SFB Module G3, Annex #3, the ISC N1 note indicates that two carrier and/or battle pods will not increase the command rating any more than one will. In Advanced Operations this annex has the text: "Federation, Kzinti, Klingon, and Lyran tugs get the benefit of command rating bonuses from only one pod at a time"; so the ISC should be added to the list. Jeff Coutu - 26 Apr 2012
(759.0) Per the large scale map the Pronhoula System should have 2 major and 2 minor planets. This would also match the total number of planet listed for (753.0) in F&E 2010. Jeff Coutu - 26 Apr 2012

In the OOB of the Federation First Fleet, there is a MEGA-A10 counter. But there is no ship in that fleet which uses A10s. There only ship that does is the CVA in the Fifth Fleet.

I saw the Saturday 24 JUL 12:28am post
referencing the LSM and it's ISC Capital Systems Pronhoula as a 2M + 2m system.
I would also like to point out that the LSM shows 1 Major (Burlesetta) and 2 minors (Mattabalassa and Lovasetta) in the off-map. However published items ISC War and the online OOB for the ISC show the off-map area to have 8 Provinces, 2 Majors, and 1 Minor. Which is correct? I did a search and couldn't find the Q&A referencing the correction.
