The entries for War Cruiser Leaders and War Destroyer Leaders are confusing. They do not reference (551.1) free upgrades. The Federation CLC and many others note "Limit of one per turn by any means." Is it suppose to allow you to sub or convert in addition to (551.1)?

For example, the Federation produces 10 to 12 NCL a turn. That should be 2 or 3 free CLC per turn. That would seem to contradict the note.

Federation FCA (Fralli CA): Unfortunately FCA was also used for the A20 Resupply Ship variant of a DW on countersheet V1+V2, so both the counter and SIT Designation for the Fralli FCA should probably be changed. – Jeff Coutu, 3 Jan 2022 (SVC SAID IT WILL NOT BE CHANGED)

Federation FCA (Fralli CA): In the “Build Cost or Substitution” column, it references (549.72) but such a rule does not exist, and (549.0) deals with auxiliary warships. Perhaps it should have referenced (551.9) which deals with adding the ships from Tactical Operations to scenarios but I am unsure. – Jeff Coutu, 3 Jan 2022

Fed HVX: FEDS recommends adding note to SIT:
Medium carrier but can operate with one or two standard escorts. May operate with no escorts in an X-ship only battle force.

Rationale: Per SFB R-section (R2.212):
"Whenever it was part of an advanced technology squadron, it operated without escorts, but on several occasions it operated as a regular carrier in sectors where other advanced technology ships were not present." Also see escort chart where option for 1 or 2 escorts is permitted.

Federation: FEM: Reference (551.71) should be (551.61). Reason: The Federation FEMA ship functions are defined under (551.61). Thomas Mathews 1 Feb 2022

Klingon: DVHX: Factors: 7-10 (H8)/3-5 (4H) should be: 7-10 (8H)/3-5 (4H). Reason: The H for heavy fighters should come after the number of fighter factors. Thomas Mathews 1 Feb 2022

Federation DHD: This is a new base hull, with no Depot track listed. Suggest adding to notes, "Depot as DD."

Federation HDD: This is a new base hull, with no Depot track listed. Suggest adding to notes, "Depot as DD."

Federation OCA: This is a new base hull, with no Depot track listed. Suggest adding to notes, "Depot as CA."

Federation VT: This is a new base hull, with no Depot track listed. Suggest adding to notes, "Depot as FF."

[Note: I am not going to suggest appending a Depot note to every variant; giving it on a base hull entry should be sufficient.]

[Also, I'd suggest a rule/note somewhere to treat all the super-heavy cruisers (CB, D7W...) as the same base hull as the related CA/CC class to keep from needing notes that reasonably obvious case.]

FEDS concurs with all of the above.

Klingon DVHX: Base hull listed as "D5W", should be "D5X"

Klingon E6: This is a new base hull, with no Depot track listed. Suggest adding to notes, "Depot as E4." [possibly as F5, along with E5 and E7 based on size; but since the major change is an extra engine...]

WNY PBB: Add to notes:
"Casual PFT; can carry a full CPF (524.0)."
Rationale: R-section (R12.12) states that the PBB is a casual PFT and its SSD has six PF mech links.

Lyran CLV: I was fairly certain we elected to increase the cost of this ship conversion to 2EPs matching the DDV (light carrier) as it was too good of a deal at 1+8 for fighters. Also the availability date was recommended as 169F rather than 169S. I believe this would more align with the lesser escort availability (FFE and DDE).

ROM KWS & KWV

A lot of confusion on conversion costs for both. Bad copy & paste IMHO

For KWS:
From DWV: 3+12
From D5W: 5+12
From D5v: 5+12
From D5: 7+12
Why adding fighters cost (in some cases to a CV)?

For KWV:
From DWS: 3
From D5W: 7
From D5W: 6
From D5: 9
Why no fighters cost? And why 2 different cost for D5W?

Lyran DWY (DWP): Light PFT
YIS is listed incorrectly as Y175. YIS should be Y178 (sorry not sure if it is allowed immediately in Spring or delayed to Fall).

Rationale: the YIS is impossible due to it having PFs 3 years earlier than other Lyran units and likely is a copy / paste error.

Lyr INT's YIS is Y176 (G3)

By Lawrence Bergen (Lar) on Tuesday, June 28, 2022 - 08:59 pm: Edit

RE: Above DWY. Sorry I forgot to mention I did check the YIS in G3 and that product also says Y175. It does appear (in that product) to be copy/paste table error that may have been inadvertently transcribed across platforms.

INT rules are not really in F&E (correct?)
The SIT says this ship carries 3 PFs.

Klingon E7 NOTES auto-correction typo says "an uninspired attend to build a cruiser out of leftover parts."

Assumed correction (for when the TAC OPS SIT is incorporated into the Klingon SIT): should instead say "an uninspired attempt to build a cruiser out of leftover parts."
