Ruby and the UBER would be going. Thor is welcome to visit with his sister and cousin. Not sure if Amy would be as thrilled about another 100lb dog in the house, but Jennifer and John can help.
Going back you guys might have to all be in the UBER as I can't go that far and not visit the San Juan Mts in Southern CO with Ruby!
Put the three dogs outside together for the day and they won't be any problem at all during the night.
Let my girlfriend tend to the entire collected pack. She'd be in pooch heaven.
We have dog parks here and I can arrange to take the dogs on outings.
It has been suggested that we need to talk about basic ground rules for this gathering.
In light of the COVID situation, we think either you need to have been vaccinated or you need to test negative for COVID three days before the start. This keeps all of us safe.
For safety reasons, Al and I ask that you don't drink alcoholic beverages in the morning before you arrive or at the house. We don't want anyone to be hurt while driving to or from the house.
We do have a small, long-haired dog who lives in the house. He's usually good with strangers after an introduction and bribes ... treats. If you are allergic to dogs, this is something you need to take into account.
Al and I both react badly to smoke, so please, no smoking in or around the house.
I don't have a deadline for when you should leave each night, but if I get sleepy, I'll ask you to keep it down a bit. That would usually be after 11 pm at the earliest. 
There are lots of things for families to do around Amarillo. We'll be glad to make suggestions for things to do around town or for day trips.
I have loads of vacation and I am currently an empty nester. I am willing to travel this year or next (as soon as its open to do so). I am already eligible for the vaccine due to my affiliation with the Civil Air Patrol.
I also noticed that Origins has scheduled 2021 event for SEPTEMBER 30-OCTOBER 3

We are strongly considering a week in Amarillo Tx in late June.
Al and I have gotten the first shot for the Covid-19 vaccine. We should get the second one next week. We are certainly hoping everyone can attend; Al is sorting through the storage rooms for chairs and tables.
We have a few tables and chairs here at the office.
When is the next covid paranoia free gathering? I nearly froze to death multiple nights during the lockdown to keep you all feeling nice and safe from the scary things on the news. Now that my access to work isn't heartlessly being deprived... without apology I might add... Ever dig ditches in 100 degree heat with a mask on? I want to game with friends, not grandpas reminding me that the lives of young adults were forfeited during 2020

Jean, this is not the place to destroy my life with your hypochondria. Jean, you nearly KILLED me last year. We are still friends. I know you didn't mean to hurt me, you were so kind to me when I was a little boy. I'm pleading with you, Mercy please. Those authority figures on the TV you trusted that betrayed you. Very forgivable. Jean, I miss my dad. Jean, can I see him at an F&E event? Jean, can you just stay away from me? Jean... YOU ARE TERRIFYING ME! Jean, When are you going to pin me down and inject me? Jean, can we just play some Star Fleet? Jean, I survived covid at the very beginning!!!
What I fear now, is those who make fear their sole existence for living. I want old times again. I miss board gaming. You want to hurt me, but I am your friend. I surrender. You have absolute power here. I am no one and nothing. Can we please start living again?

This is still not the place to discuss Covid. These two posts count as strike two. If you choose to continue this discussion on this forum, I will (by the rules of the BBS) be forced to suspend you. You agreed to abide by these rules when you signed up. I draw your attention to Rule #12 Those who cannot follow the rules are subject to a series of warnings, and if these are not effective, may be suspended from posting privileges for 7 days, 30 days, 365 days, or permanently. Normally you get three warnings and then each violation results in the next level of suspension.
Unofficially, your personal attacks have hurt me deeply. I hope you find peace.

Hey everybody. It has suddenly become important that I get my summer itinerary locked down. Parents are having a big 60th anniversary event in late July, and I have to be there. So do we have any idea what week/weekend we're looking at for StratCon in 2022?
We are currently looking at Late June.
That should be cool. Puts me at an F8 for the moment.
My suggestion would be either 18-26 or 25 Jun to 3 Jul.
Arrivals Fri night/Sat game through Saturday. Depart on Sunday.
I don’t think those dates will work. I will ask Janet but she said the facility was availability early June.
I am F0. My youngest niece is getting married on the 24th of June. At that time I will be attending her wedding and on vacation with my better half of 25 years.
Personally I have events in early June (week 6/5-6/12) and prefer either week before that or after but will await to see what the available timeline allows before reporting status.
Dang. Early June is going to be a no-go. That's why we all abandoned Origins. Early June still has students and teachers in school, family events, and I'm stuck babysitting people with too many stars on their uniforms.
For the week of 6/12-6/19, I'm F5 (I _might_ have a work-related event I can't avoid; things will partially depend on the Covid situation at that time.)
For any other week in June, I'm F9.5.
I am not saying you cannot do it, only that the venue I secured from Janet isn't available from some date I am not sure of. I need to call her and ask but had other issues to deal with today. If you cannot do it when Janet's place is available then you will have to find another venue. Any any other venue is going to cost several times as much. And if it's not in Amarillo you can pretty much kiss goodbye getting another F&E book updated in 2022.
