Thanks Al, the only thing we would have to disclose is what we are using the space for and that there will be (potentially) more people in the house than its advertised occupancy at times in the day.

AirBnB and their hosts have had to deal with humans who have a general disregard for people and property and have rented places only to destroy them with a massive house party or some other unruly behavior that resulted in loss of property or even life.

Makes them obviously weary of folks (and these are neighborhood properties usually) so I would want to make sure any place we chose is aware of our intent, has room for the extra parking for anyone coming and going, and that they agree to allow it.

Given that the number attending won't exceed last year I would think a BNB with space for one F&E game and maybe one other game would be more than enough, and cheaper than renting two spaces. It also gives you a kitchen and short "commute to work" so to speak.

I just wanted to throw out another BnB choice I found that is less expensive and *might* be better suited to the number of people coming. Based on the pictures there should be plenty of room for two F&E games, and probably a side table for something entertaining, and is pet friendly.

One thing to note about Amarillo - finding a home with a pool pretty much impossible, and I didn't see an option on the ABnB site to say "places with a pool."

If we could get a 'final count' then whoever is making the reservation can choose something.

After talking to wife and son I can commit to joining you guys this summer. I have played F@E many years ago but will be read up on the rules. My son would love to joiin us, he is 17.

It will be just the two of us as the wife graciously volunterred to remain behind and take care of the hounds.

Is there a firm date set and accomodations realized?

I am very flexible and have all of June and July free.

Yep saw that. I will take a look again Saturday.

Tax check came so would be willing to risk the security deposit to lock down a place.

That said I will also look into the contract and see of they are agreeable (if we lock down an 8-10 person sleeping place) if they are also good with having 14 ppl show up (cars in front etc).

If not we can reach out to SVC for that phone call.

Sent an email to you Ryan and Dan. I believe it works for the stay and we can invite whomever. As for the venue once we secure this place we can discuss the space need to see if it works. 9 people still looks like one game possibly two. If it doesn't all fit, this place is 10-14 min from the JJ Ranch.
