Anything else?

DONE
Yes - Since we are now getting two sheets of VULKAN in SO, I would request the following:
VULKAN F-3: REPLACE CSV with DNVH: Factors 10(8H)/5(4H); this is the HF version of the DNV per (R7.45). There were THREE CSVs in the original SO but there is little need for SIX in this product.
VULKAN E-5: REPLACE CWV with CWVH: Factors 7(8H)/4(4H); this is the HF version of the CWV per (R7.47). There were TWO CWVs in the original SO but there is little need for FOUR in this product.

DONE
G-10: Kzinti JAD: Correct combat factors to match SHEET-80 to 8-6/3 (front/back).
G-3: Kzinti HAD: Correct combat factors to match SHEET-80 to 9-8/4 (front/back).
L-4/5: Gorn HVD: Both crippled factors should be 3-4(3) [not 2-4(4^)] per the Gorn SIT.

FIXED
Is it an optical illusion or is some of the Crippled side M row factors touching the top of the crippled stripe? (Looking specifically at M17 to M-11)

DONE
Also I believe the crippled strip in the center column adjacent to I & J should be red not black in case of die cutter drift, right?

ALL DONE TO DATE
By Lawrence Bergen (Lar) on Thursday, June 20, 2024 - 06:16 pm: Edit |
In the same manner as my post at 2:48am:
I see the same issue with the Crippled side C, D, E, F, and M row factors touching the top of the crippled stripe? I am mainly looking at items in columns 3-6 in these rows (for instance the Snipe-E).
Note: Maybe you did the whole sheet with the 2:48am post if so I apologize for this post in advance.

I fixed that.

I forgot to change the revision dates but those are 25 June images just above.

Vulkan D-18: DLMV - Should not the back fighters be 3.5? Per 525.23V the back fighter factors is adjusted by +3 fighter factors. The base DLM has 0.5 back fighter factors making the new value 3.5 (0.5 + 3 fighter factors).
FEDS: NON-CONCURS. The Carrier Operations Group (COG) absorbs the HDW's one hybrid fighter on all modular ships (HDW/HXW/LNH/KNH/DLM); all COG, when installed, are (6)/(3).
Rule (525.23V) later states: "There is no need to pay the cost of converting the one hybrid fighter on the HDW to “true” carrier status; this is assumed if the COG is in use."
This also work the same for other modular Heavy Fighters HDW carriers (8H)/(4H).
For the Feds: (9H)/(4^H), (10V)/(5V), or (8Y)/(4Y) for the F-111, A-20, or F-101 modular carriers respectfully.
=====================
Vulkan E-18: CSV - The back should not have a scout diamond.
FEDS: CONCURS.
By Daniel Glenn Knipfer (Dgknipfer) on Monday, July 01, 2024 - 06:55 pm: Edit |
If the base hull of an HDW equivalent does not have a casual fighter, putting a COG on it does not add the 6th fighter. The DLM does not have a casual fighter to roll into the COG, so the DLMA/V/Y/Z should have nothing except what is paid for with the COG.
The JGP does not gain a 6th factor when adding a COG. It gets 3 factors and 2 very expensive FCR factors. So it is not true that all COG are (6)/(3) when installed.
What is on a DLMV in the SFB SSD?
By Lawrence Bergen (Lar) on Monday, July 01, 2024 - 08:21 pm: Edit |
The SFB SSD for the DLM has 2 Ftrs. In F&E terms this is 1 Fighter Factor.
When Adding the COG +5 F&E Fighters (10 SFB fighters) it would total 6 in F&E (or 12 SFB Fighters).
The DLMV is correct at 6 Fighters in F&E.
FEDS CONCURS.

VULKAN B-13: FEDS recommends exchanging the Fed CVS for a Fed NAF; Factors 4-7EF/2-4E. This is the Fast Escort of the Fed NCL. While the SIT lists the NAF as part of FO-2015; an exhaustive search produced counter sheets by the F&E Staff reveal that ADB did not publish the NAF in any F&E produce to date.
Historically, the Federation only produced SEVEN per CL09 CVS Class Profile article, pg 14. There are already 12 counters in the basic set box (four counters on three copies of Sheet BRAVO) and two counters are also included in FO box (one CVS on two sheets of I&J) for a total of FOURTEEN counters.

SVC:
Confirm you noted the exchange request above (11 NOV 2024).
Thanks,
