FEDS: CONCURS.
J15 JGPV: 7(3)[2]/4(1.5) are the correct factors (NO escort boxes either side and NO FCR factors on the crippled side). Reference: Lyran version JGPV on P+Q 2021 location N-13.
FEDS: CONCURS.

FEDS: CONCURS.
FEDS REF:

<!-Quote-!>Quote:
(525.242) Missions: JGPs can be built or configured for the HDWK (combat, but the JGP does not gain any attack factors as an HDW would), HDWV (carrier, but not H or heavy fighter carrier), HDWC (command), HDWG (commando), HDWF (field repair), and HDWR (forward carrier resupply) missions. Mission changes are done in the same way as the HDWs; the limit on SB conversions covers HDWs and JGPs combined. JGPs cannot perform missions not listed in this rule.<!-/Quote-!>

ZULU Report Front and Back:
Front and back mismatch.
I-1 SAC is duplicated at J-3; suggest replacement with SAV; the YIS is Y161 per SIT. This was done on back but missed on front.
FEDS: SAV FRONT factor 0-2(6)
CHECK CAREFULLY. THE COUNTERS YOU WERE TALKING ABOUT WERE NOT IN THE LOCATIONS YOU CITED. THEY WERE MOVED SOME TIME BEFORE YESTERDAY. I THINK I GOT EVERYTHING FIXED. CHECK CAREFULLY.
I-20 CW suggest replacement with LAV; the YIS is Y161 per SIT. This was done on back but missed on front.
FEDS: LAV FRONT factor 1-4(12). Please also correct the crippled side fighter factor to read (6) not (3).

I am indeed glad to see the WYN IDD counter being added to this countersheet, thank you kindly!
-----
EDIT: Apologies - I got a bit mixed up with the degree to which the combat factors of the WYN-Jindarian CL have been adjusted to date.
To clarify: should the uncrippled defence factor of the JCL remain at 12, or be revised down to 11 as per the post by FEDS on Wednesday?
If 12 is the appropriate factor here, well and good. I just wanted to double-check in this instance.
By Steve Cole (Stevecole) on Friday, November 07, 2025 - 08:50 pm: Edit
I am happy with the JCL factors; I looked at it with Petrick and we picked 12, The staff may or may not argue with me. I need to go write special rules for it, limiting it to the capital core prefecture.

EVERYTHING DONE
From this point, all we should have are:
1. SVC made the correction incorrectly.
2. I just noticed a mistake that has been there for days.
3. I had a clever idea and risked the agonizer booth to bring it up.

POSTED
By Lawrence Bergen (Lar) on Saturday, November 08, 2025 - 01:11 pm: Edit
Confirming that back of Vudar bases have a J per the ME countersheet published w/ ME and the following rules:
(327.1) DESIGNATION
(327.11) ION STORM GENERATOR (ISG) UNITS: Unless noted
elsewhere within the rules all space-based Vudar bases [except
mobile bases (MBs) and operational bases (OPBs)] are armed
with ISGs; like other units armed with IPGs, Vudar bases are
marked with a “J” designation symbol since ISGs may be oper-
ated as IPGs. Vudar bases on celestial bodies with an atmo-
sphere are not armed with ISGs; other exceptions will be noted
within the rules or within a given scenario.
(327.12) CRIPPLED VUDAR BASES: Vudar bases typically
mount several ISGs and retain the use of ISGs even if crippled.
When a crippled Vudar base with an ISG chooses to use the ISG
as an IPG it is assumed to have an intrinsic “J” factor for calcula-
tions under (328.2).

At this point I am officially going to exercise class. I will check the BBS tomorrow and see if I need to drive in on Sunday afternoon to update the sheets again.
Two and a half hours at exercise class, four intense sessions, real motivation to get my legs stronger and move better.

Good catch Patrick I have looked 100 times and still missed it.
By Steve Cole (Stevecole) on Saturday, November 08, 2025 - 09:37 pm: Edit
I hand checked every counter against the SIT and I only missed 26 errors you guys caught.
In our collective defense, I will note that there are 1.5 sheets with 420 counters in this project. Front and back there are 840 counters. Each one has at least five bits of information (designation twice, combat factor twice, icon) for a total of 4200 things to check. Some counters have up to three or four special codes on the front and back (fighters, drones, pFs, scout, escort, whatever else) pushing that number past 6000. The fact that I missed 26 and Lar missed 2 and even Chuck missed a few, you can understand the impossibility of the task. Being graphics, you cannot say, "computer, find a D6D" and you certainly cannot say "computer, compare the graphic data in A1F to the excel file called SIT". That takes visual search by mark I eyeballs and those things glaze over long before you get to 420, let alone 6000.
And it gets worse. This project included 420 new counters and 140 counters we had printed before, and when people starting finding mistakes in the 140 old counters (virtually all of which had one or more special factors), they had to undergo full checks, pushing the number past 8000.

One more, not sure if this is an error or a decision that was made, but thought it was worth mentioning just in case:
Zulu Front
A2 Orion BRS: Original FEDS recommended factors were 5-7 per comment on 10/22.
FEDS: Support ADB’s decision to go with the current BRS values of 4-7.

At this point, I don’t see a need to go to the office before tomorrow. I will walk in, add the two diamonds, have Jean confirm them, and go to press.
Assuming no more reports show up.
