If you folks would give me the address of your F&E gaming location, I'll notify the paramedics now...it will save time.

As the (un)official bartender for the SF Universe, I am appalled by this discussion.
No, wait. That's not it. Not appalled. What's the word...
Delighted! That's it!
I'll go get some Scotch.

1 drink (and a barbecue) every time there is a rule question.
5 drink (of water !) for the player asking a question already answered in the Q&A archive.
1 drink per 100 counters sorted.
1 drink for each player earning an SVC "dead horse" comment.
1 bottle and a great hurrah for the first team reaching turn 34
By Philippe Le Bas (Phil) on Wednesday, June 25, 2003 - 09:33 am: Edit |
Oh, I forgot, 1 drink for each player once the type of drink is agreed by all players.

Take a drink, if you mess up your economic form
Hmmm - this one could get dangerously circular!
By David Lang (Dlang) on Wednesday, June 25, 2003 - 03:10 pm: Edit |
James, and the 1 drink per 100 counters sorted isn't already circular??
By Christopher E. Fant (Cfant) on Wednesday, June 25, 2003 - 04:16 pm: Edit |
Will that be a bottle of Louie III for the team that reaches 34 Philippe?
See, this is great fun.
I have the crown, and the Gentleman Jack.
What else......Oh yeah TEQUILA!!!!(Gotta Love Texas)
By James Southcott (Yakface) on Wednesday, June 25, 2003 - 04:45 pm: Edit |
David - good point though that will never get through playtesting: far too anti-coalition. Would have to be balanced by something like 'one drink for every carrier built (hybrids count one half)'
We could always crown the positive feedback off with something like - first one to get alcohol poisoning has to finish the bottle.
1 drink for each player earning an SVC "dead horse" comment.......if that gets included then PeteD's a dead man

Any time you think a counter factor's is wrong, take a drink until you think the counter's factor is right.

One drink of Absinthe if you lose a CVA in combat, two if you are the Feds.
Finish the bottle of Absinthe if you lose a B10 in combat.

Punishment for losing the Fed Homeworld - a drink a friend of mine inflicted on me when I lost a game of pool once...See, the deal was if you lost a game, the other guy got to secretly mix a drink and you had to drink it - it got ugly - but I digress. So the murderous drink in question...affectionately know as...
The Flaming Jackass
Take a collins glass half full of ice, fill with six equal parts of Citron Vodka, Coconut Rum, Peppermint Schnapps, Goldschlager, Jagermister, and Triple Sec. Add a splash of lime juice and a pinch of salt. Stir. Drink Quickly (near a sink). Absolutely guaranteed to temporarily stop the intake of air, induce an intense burning sensation, make you gasp like a sucking chest wound, drool all over yourself, and kick like an angry donkey. Hence the name.
Note - if the Fed player actually finishes the drink - give him the Fed Homeworld back - he has earned it.
By Christopher E. Fant (Cfant) on Wednesday, June 25, 2003 - 08:52 pm: Edit |
Jeez man. Is the lime to make you think it might not kill you?
Absinthe.........hmm. Really can't get that in the states. Not legally in any form that would resemble the drink anyway.

"Do you solemnly swear before this keg that you shall drink the beer, the whole beer, and nothing but the beer?"
This was someone's actual signature file on another discussion board.

Hey, you lot in America don't even know what real beer is. To be a proper beer it has to be opaque, gloopy and have unidentifiable protein suspended in it. For those looking for a proper beer, try Old Peculiar - A fine example. Make sure it is at body temperature when consumed. Yum!
By Christopher E. Fant (Cfant) on Thursday, June 26, 2003 - 05:31 am: Edit |
GACK!!!
Hey, in Texas we drink two things.
Guinness and Shiner.
That is about as real as I like it.
By James Southcott (Yakface) on Thursday, June 26, 2003 - 06:58 am: Edit |
Guiness - that's not bad going. The Irish maintain that you can achieve a balanced diet using nothing but potatoes and Guiness (potatoes are optional)

It's still illegal in the states? Whatever for? The UK finally allowed that is was OK. I've a bottle and a half in the fridge as we speak.

10 Sober-up pills whenever you lose the game.
"you mean I have just lost a 3-week game and I have to remain sober?????"

1 drink every time you encounter a French F&E player, no, sorry, it's so rare it is at last worth the entire bottle of "pure single malt"
