CL 35 Logistic Note for Nebulous Operations:

1) Will this F101 heavy fighter get its own FCR as the F111 and A20 did? (FCF and FCA respectively)

2) Will this F101 heavy fighter be "carryable" in Federation escorts?

The Star Fleet Battles R10 annex lists R2.R5 (?) as allowing A20s in Federation escort cargo while Rule (509.94) ESCORTS in F&E2K does not.

3) Will Federation F111 and A20 tug logistic pods be able to replenish F101 carriers?

Trent, as I've been reminded numerous times, that normal FCR's can carry Hvy. Fighters already.

1) So a F-FCR can carry F-101s already.
2) So since NACs/DWAs have a [1] FCR factor, yeah.
3) Since presumably a FCF/FCA are pre-loaded w/ A-20s/F-111s when they leave the SB/planet, probably not (you'd think).

The Star Fleet Battles R-note in J2 for the FCF says it carried F111s, A20s, F14s. F15s and, on rare occasions, F18s.

There is no "FCA" class in Star Fleet Battles.

The only reason there was an FCA in F&E Fighter Operations was to account for the different "Pay as you go" F111 option versus "annuity factor only" A20s.

The F-111s and A-20s are special, more powerful fighters and so get special FCRs. The F-101s are "standard" heavy fighters and so would use the standard FCRs and rules, not special ones. Unless you are trying to campaign for these to be 9 or 10 Compot squadrons instead of 8?

3) No. I asked a similar question about Hydran FCXs being able to resupply standard CVs.
