If that is what it takes to get into more stores, that would be awesome.

Hey, Jean ... and guys, think about it, then there'd be THREE Steves ... it's confusing enough, sometimes!

The distance from Amarillo to Austin is farther than the distance from the Bug River (where Hitler started on 22 June 1941) to Moscow.

Woooooohooo! GURPS Feds is out on e23. (And I'm doing a happy dance!)

Those annoying do-gooders of the galaxy are here in the GURPS version of our newest empire sourcebook!
* Surveys of all member planets (and several others)
* Starships
* Colonial development
* New species templates
* Politics
* History
* Culture
* Law enforcement
* New weapons
...and more. You will need a copy of GURPS Basic Set or GURPS Prime Directive to use this book.

GURPS stuff does well on e23. I'll bet you a virtual doughnut that says GURPS Feds will be a best-seller, and maybe even a better seller than any of the other e23 releases from ADB.

Terry, I would truly love that.

Gurps Feds is available from ADB as a hard copy when?
I want it!

Same day as CL43, about six weeks from now.
This is kind of an experiment. SJG always does their e23 stuff a month or two early so people can find issues.

Snagged a copy have been reading through it. Looks really good.

Let me, guess, Steve: by releasing it early on e23, you get a hundred extra proofreaders so you can make last minute fixes before going to print with the hard-copy version. Or did I just give away a trade secret?

When you work with text too long, you see what you expect to see. Typos creep in as you fix problems. With e23, its easy to fix and no one gets upset.
It's no secret that we try to give our customers the best product we can using the best methods we know. Using e23 is just another tool in that quest.

Garth, yes, in fact SJGames does the same thing for exactly the same reason.

Garth: No secret, I explained that myself some weeks ago, several places.
BTW, there will be a surprise for you and Celestia in a future Captain's Log. Not sure if it will stay in CL43 as it might get bumped to CL44.

Okay then. I presume it's a good surprise.
