You mean you haven't finished it yet? ;)

GURPS will need more work. There are some things I need to make a decision on which way to jump and I want to check the species with a fine-tooth comb.
I need to get a copy of my own of the latest AP stylebook and annotate it with SJG's changes/additions since I work better from paper than a screen. Then we will be ready to make the changes to the core PD Feds and move on it.

It will take Jean 1d6 weeks to finish the GURPS version of FEDS. Then we have to send it to SJG, which will take 2d6 weeks to approve it. Then we have to "announce it to the trade" for release 60-90 days after the date SJG approves it.
And it gets worse. For improved sales, I want to work some kind of deal to have SJG promote, even "release" the book, and that could take more time. (In a miraculous world, they'd take the book and print it in China, which would add months, but make zillions. Don't expect a miracle, but I'm just sayin'.)

The PDF has been built. Those beautiful planets took about fourty minutes to PDF, making the whole book take about an hour to PDF.

The first copy was waiting when I got back from lunch. Now, to see how much of it has to be changed before we start production.

Ooops, I found multiple spellings of Groenveldt and have to replace two pages.

If I sound impatient over the GURPS release, my apologies. I am excited to see some momentum growing here and hope it keeps growing ever faster.

Well, the GURPS version *does* have the advantage of being playable with what you get from ADB.
I still don't have a copy of the D20 Modern core rules from WotC, so can't really make anything out of the D20M versions.
SOUNDS like it may still be possible to see the GPD version of Feds for X-Mas? That'd be a nice present!

I stock both GURPS and PD20M. (I have PD20 also but I won't be getting any more for that system.)
If I had to go with one it would be GPD.
