I would say that parsley, on a Fed world, costs whatever it costs on Earth today, but on a Kzinti or Lyran world, is highly illegal and costs whatever the street value of high grade marajuana costs.

(Please do NOT go ask a drug dealer for the street value of marajuana. You're liable to run into an undercover narcotics officer who is NOT going to believe why you are asking.)

Well I would say that 1-100 may be extreme for a common cooking herb like parsley. More like 0.25-3 dollars an ounce. But you've got the right idea. For the most part we don't need a price range for most earth stuff or equivalents cause we can assume a price variation equivalent to earth. We need it more for things like dilithium crystals, deuterium, alien pets, unique alien goods, topaline, and other unique commodities.

Marshall, parsley's probably Very Expensive n worlds where there are Kzinti or Lyrans. It is very illegal there.

I think we'll have to look at these in some of the future world books that I've got planned. Tafelland and Texmex are just two of the planets I plan to explore fully.
