One hex or one Empire?

A project Dale Fields and I discussed was to match the location of various APOD things with an F&E hex.

Module F1 defined a F & E hex as having one thousand "useful"places.. the article about the Federation Express Corporation changed it by characterizing the federationas having 278,000 useful plces and wenta step further by sayng the federation registry had 180,000 inhabited locations if memory serves me correctly...
That would make the ratio of inhabited places to total useful places about 180,000/278,000.
Just how how many of these traveler hexes were you goung to divide a f&e hex into?

Just one, like this baseline one.
What is contained within it, is all of those items that are of a MILITARY interest, which I would think would be significantly less than the "useful" places the published products suggest.

SVC, email sent with Hex 1004 as an quasi-complete example. There are 1158 more just like it, except on coffee stained 20 year old paper. (Transition to electronic, typewritten form has been painfully slow.)

SVC and Jean,
Any chance that ADB will participate in Free RPG Day again in the future? I miss seeing your entry on the table when I go snag my Free RPG Day swag.

Ken, someday when we get caught up a bit more.
