Personally, I think the Fralli should have beautifully elegant ships. Irony is a good thing.

They think the ships are beautifully elegant...

...of course, the young Fralli groom thinks his bride is beautifully elegant too...

Of course, after a couple years, he starts to see her the way the rest of us do .....

No problem. Everyone tells me how lucky I am to have such a pretty wife.

The fralli sounds like something you leave the bar with at 2am and then chew youre arm off the next morning to get away from.

Nope, worse... They are the ones you leave at the bar.

They're the ones you leave a bar full of pretty girls just to get away from.

I might point out that some people use cattle prods for entertainment purposes. The Fralli might be really popular with such people.
By Will McCammon (Djdood) on Tuesday, July 02, 2013 - 02:12 pm: Edit |
Those people will need paper bags or potato sacks, then.
By Jean Sexton (Jsexton) on Tuesday, July 02, 2013 - 02:24 pm: Edit |
Poor Fralli. They aren't that bad looking.

Wasn't it an all Fralli cast (except for one human girl) in an old Twilight Zone episode?
By Mark Hutton (Trynda1701) on Thursday, July 04, 2013 - 01:49 pm: Edit |
While I remember the episode Loren is talking about, I have NO idea what the Fralli are?
Any pointers to my unknown blank spot on the SFU?
And I mean serious pointers, no joke pics please!

There's a writeup for the Fralli in Prime Directive Federation.

How about we have the Fralli planet teleported to the
FRA in the Omega Sector and let Gary Carney deal with them?

Steve Petrick said that Fralli on starship crews are always the first pick for away teams.
First, nobody cares if you lose them or "accidentally" leave them behind.
Second, few planetary predators will eat a Fralli.

Didn't the first war with the Klingons happen because the first Federation Away team the Klingons met was an all Fralli team?

This is the story of an all Fralli crew aboard Star Fleet's most successful minesweeper.

I thought it was a "minefield tester"?

If there were any Fralli in Auroran service, they'd make for a handy way to trap an enemy agent when on patrol along the Mæsron-Vari border.
The Vari are a species of giant blood-sucking spiders, who prefer to draw their "meals" from live subjects. So, a Vari might try to do this to an unsuspecting Fralli, only to get zapped by the latter's electric defences.

Now I got this image of a Fralli in the FRA ground forces wondering why he was told to take point while caring a large blue lamp...

The whole Fralli electricty thing was really a misunderstanding. After the first encounter with them the team leader reported to the Captain on the mission.
Distracted by many things on his plate at the time the Captain simply asked, "What are they like?"
To which the team leader replied, "Shocking!"
The rest is history.

Y'all are finally learning tolerance toward the Fralli. It's been over four months since anyone wrote anything.
