We're still discussing this? I thought it obvious.
1. Klingon DSF Academy grads have both Marine O1 and Navy O1 ranks.
2. If you want to be promoted to O2 in either service, do what the rules require to earn it. If you want to be promoted in both services, you have to earn both promotions. (Just for note, a navy O5 who wants to have a promotion party could probably earn his Marine O2 and O3 ranks with less total effort that his navy O6 rank.)
3. As far as skills go, in any service (Klingon, Fed, whatever) the various medium-specific skills (tactics, operations, strategy, all of which are in the gurps rulebooks) default to other media at various penalties (stated in published gurps rules), so any navy O6 of any race/empire would have tactics-starship that would default to tactics-ground combat at some (published) penalty.

One thing I always thought was interesting about the Klingon legal system is that it's not enough to prove that you didn't do it. You have to find the person who actaully did. Klingon lawyers could make for some interesting gaming. Maybe some templates for lawyers (probably with a healthy dose of investigative skills) and some more details on the Klingon legal process could show up in a feature somewhere.

Gary, don't tell me that you don't have your Gooogle page language set to Klingon? I hope you guys are going to print a Klingon language version. Right?

A Klingon language version has actually been ready for months.
The problem is that the Klingon font keeps overrunning the Kyocera's buffer. SVC has been trying to teach it to stay at knife-fighting ranges, but without success.

Hope they can teach Samantha to print Klingon. Would love to get the Master Rule Book in it.

Cover concept. BTW, Might was well round up all this back to klinshai stuff and put it in GK4e.

I'm done with GK4e except for these things.
1. The typos I marked in my personal home copy. About an hour's work.
2. The character data for those guys in the last story. Somebody needs to do this now. Please.
3. Everybody says that the index needs work but nobody tells me what to add.
