Nice work, indeed.

I've seen pictures of those figures before, but for some reason, it hadn't really occurred to me that you could backdate them to the original-series style tunics. Embarassed

Another suggestion: Portholes/ windows. Once you have an ALPS it would be possible to do both lit and unlit. I've painted them on some of my models, and it helps give a sense of scale.

The FASA minis are 1/3900... so as you say, they are very close. (I'm not sure FASA strictly stuck to that scale in all cases, but that's another discussion) .
