It's admittedly been quite a awhile since I've played SFB, let alone the Omega. I was engaged in some of the initial playtesting of Omega and liked the theme quite a bit. However, Omega ships seemed t ... |

Old discussion. The point values, largely lifted from SFB, reflect the realities of that rule set. FC is enough different as a game that the values may be off.
Even given the differences between F ... |

Fair warning:
We are rapidly approaching the point where no actual discussion is taking place anymore. Either new points need to be raised (or at least have old points explained differently), or I ... |

Like I pointed out, rather than fudging the plasma movement or changing BPV's, it would simply be more practical to allow plasma races either to be fully loaded or at least be in rolling delay at the ... |

While I am a long way from convinced that plasma is a problem, or has a problem, changing BPVs is very hard the way FC is printed, and would not be the way i'd fix it if it needs fixing at all.

Actually, I'm looking at it with FC colored glasses. Thus far, I haven't found the Gorn uncompetitive in the games I've played. I don't much care for the Romulans (never did anyway) and think they ... |

My concern is that there should be no "special tournament rules". If Sabot is needed for tournament, then it is needed in the normal game. I really, really do not want to see FC turn into SF ... |

The conversation may be old but that doesn't invalidate it. Plasma is not fun because it isn't competative and that makes me sad. I have a binder dedicated to gorn romulan and now ISC, I only get on ... |

This type of conversation is almost as old as SFB.
I don't think that Plasmas need changing. Perhaps, plasma ships need slight tweaking of BVP.
It is already well covered here that ships typica ... |

Good question. Answers essentially reflect the lack of specificity of the question which is what ship are you using, who is your opponent and what damage have you already taken.
In SFB, the answers ... |
