Hi.
The prospects of seeing a Prime Directive sourcebook dedicated to the ISC are quite distant, at present - to my personal chagrin - but am I the only one who would want to see the Concordium fleshed out in a Prime Directive sourcebook, or do you agree with the idea that an ISC book would be a good thing to see?
I would ask you to leave aside the matter of timing - I well understand that the TV races would most likely get the nod before the Concordium would be up for consdieration - and focus on whether you would either see the ISC (or the pre-ISC history of the Five Races) as a fertile ground for role-playing and background history telling... or, if you are not familiar with the Concordium, would be open to considering it as such. _________________ FC Omega Discussion (v3)

I'd love to see an ISC sourcebook, although there are a couple I have higher on my list. Can't wait for the Federation sourcebook, which is obviously highly anticipated, but Loren Knight is working on the Tholians sourcebook and I have very much enjoyed his fiction so I am looking forward to that sourcebook too.
Aww schucks I might as well admit it, I want every sourcebook! |

I freely admit that I'm the kinda sucker that would buy every racial sourcebook, even if I never play a single session of th game... _________________ NOLI UMQUAM VIM TURBARUM STULTORUM DEPRETIARE.

I will say that I don't really get in to Role playing anymore. Because of that, I don't plan on buying any of the PD sourcebooks.
However, I would most likely buy an ISC sourcebook because they are my favorite race to fly. However, I know almost nothing about them. Just based on the source materials I currently have I have a good understanding of interal workings of the other Empires. The ISC, on the other hand, I know almost nothing. Due to that, I would like to know more about them then the vagueness in what I currently have. |

I'd buy it if/when it comes out, but I buy all the RPG books. Obviously, I'd much rather have the "legacy" races done first. _________________

I'm he oddball in the voting I guess, since I voted no. I would; however, purchase such a book if it were released (especially since one of the ISC planets on the LSM is named after me)...
I just want several other things more and sooner... _________________ Commander, Battlegroup Murfreesboro

Look in he Veltrassa System box:
minor planet - Tomasetta.
Chuck Strong named many of the ISC planets for F&E players. He named this planet for myself (Tony Thomas) and Mark "Plasmaboy" Thomas.
Now, we're immortalized in the SFU

Which makes your treason against the Concordium all the more galling...
...or maybe I'm just jealous.
For my part, I'd like to see various issues dealt with regarding the Concordium, such as:
*The pre-warp histories of the Five Races,
*More detail on the NTW era and the Resource Worlds wars which were fought in this time,
*The evolution of the Concordium itself as a political entity,
*The adaptation of the ISC to the severe culture shock of 'discovering' the wider Octant,
*How the ISC held out during the Andro War,
*Explorations and encounters in the Distant Zone (I have had my own ideas about that, but they have not quite worked out the way I had hoped for the time being...)
*What role the ISC plays in and after Unity - how it relates to its neighbours, to the Magellanics, etc.
*What kind of colony was at PX 123 (the system which was whisked over to FRA space in 2578),
*What, if any, minor races and pre-warp cultures can be found in the Trusteeship Territory,
And a host of other aspects and things.
Ah, if only I had the skill/confidence/opportunity to have a go at it myself...
...but I'm sure whoever does write it, if it ever gets made, will be the right person for the job! _________________ FC Omega Discussion (v3)

Sorry, you were saying?
Something self-incriminating, no doubt. _________________ FC Omega Discussion (v3)
