I finished the several freighters this evening. It's a bit late to take good photos of them, but here's a sneak peek:

Tomorrow after work, I'll set-up the camera outside and take some good photos and upload them. _________________ Commander, Battlegroup Murfreesboro

It's the decals that do it. You did a great job laying them out. Thanks. _________________ Commander, Battlegroup Murfreesboro

Got good shots of most of the freighters, but I still need to re-shoot the Bandit Shipping, the Scoutdad Express, and the MTC - 106.
Here are the others:
ELCO Enterprises
Red Bull
Wing Kong Transport
T'Khasi Tusla Ifis
Weyland Corporation _________________ Commander, Battlegroup Murfreesboro

All the good "Convoy" jokes are taken.
Nice work on the minis. |

Just in case you didn't know, the red-trimmed one is the 'Wing Kong Exchange' from Big Trouble in Little China. So is the "Pork Chop Express".
They Weyland-Yutani one is an Alien reference ("the Company"). _________________

Jack Burton: This is Jack Burton in the Pork Chop Express, and I'm talkin' to whoever's listenin' out there.
Jack Burton: When some wild-eyed, eight-foot-tall maniac grabs your neck, taps the back of your favorite head up against the barroom wall, and he looks you crooked in the eye and he asks you if ya paid your dues, you just stare that big sucker right back in the eye, and you remember what ol' Jack Burton always says at a time like that: "Have ya paid your dues, Jack?" "Yessir, the check is in the mail."

Ain't she a beautiful sight.....
Nice job. Good to see more "unseen" minis make it to the painting and decal table. _________________ O.G. OPTIMUS

wait til you see my next big project...
My son gave me the idea:
I'm going to go to Wally World an buy a cheap, small mp3 player. I'm then going to upload Convoy and every other truck driving song I can find on it...
Disassemble the player...
Scratch-build a large ore processor around the circuit board and speakers...
run the power leads through the stand post...
build a lager base for it with a bigger battery...
Then, whenever it's on the map - it'll be playing truck driving music!
It'll become a prime target... jus to shut it up. _________________ Commander, Battlegroup Murfreesboro
