More importantly, the more I see of your art work the more I enjoy it, and want to paint miniatures (which I'm rubbish at, but what the heck).
Go for it!! |

It just dawned on me (I'm kinda slow) that you had them posed the same as Adam's cover. Again, pretty spiffy John! |

Adam,
The checks weren't the easiest, but I like how they looked so much in the art, I had to do them (the wonders of a 20/0 brush).
Djood,
Glad you noticed When I posted these at the legacy site, someone suggested I should have used a red light on them to make it look like the cluster radiation, LOL!! Maybe next time...
BTW, there are more posted over at the legacy site under "Starline 2400 Miniatures: Miniature Kitbashing". I didn't post them here because they are mostly ships/empires that don't appear in Fed Com yet. _________________ One of the guys that sculpts the minis (Starline 2400) |

Saw that and was impressed and commented there (for the same reasons). |

The painted versions there, though they are the "Fish" ships" don't kind of look like fish, they almost look more like some sort mammal. the Orca, the Mako, etc; |

Mike,
A mako is a type of shark, and a barracuda is also a fish. The orca is the only mammal of the fish series. Strange, but there it is. |

Mike,
There is also the Narwal class mauler, another mammal. I remembered that on the way home from classes. |
