I would like to open this thread in order to address the desire for the incorporation of the Andromedans into FC. If appropriate in accordance to the creative domain of ADB, I invite all who wish to participate in a rules lab in this regard. Share and discuss experiences and approaches towards converting Andromedan mechanics for FC.

Adressing the Moderator,

You may wish to advise guidelines and prohibitions for this type of communication or notify those of appropriate jurisdiction on such a matter.

If nothing else, it can serve as collective expression of the considerable interest amongst FC players to bring Andromedans into actual game play.

Our group has a working set of andro rules which we have used for several months that seems to work fairly well and balanced. I would be happy to share what we did if that is ok with ADB

Would you be willing to share them with others in addition to ADB? No real chance of them migrating away with me...no players in my local.

I for one would be willing to help in this regard.

I don't see why you can't share your internal rules amonst yourselves. Also, please feel free to submit them to ADB. Maybe Steve will like them more than Loren's. Smile

And there should be no real problem with sharing ideas.

I'd also be interested in seeing what people have come up with for the Andros in FC. It's been a while since I played SFB, but I used to enjoy playing with/against them when we used them.

What is the best way to share these house rules? I have also sent a copy of our entire House rule set to MJW and SVC for thier enjoyment along with the Conquistador card we used for testing.

Looking forward to seeing them.

In my opinion, if we could get a workable set of Andro rules, to the general FC complexity level [ie no more complex than Webs], then we're in for a good time Smile

Andros are a race I always wanted to try [both on the giving and receiving ends Smile] but the complexity inf SFB put me off. Here's hoping....

If anyone decides they want to try out the Round Rock Battlegroups house rules, let me know and I will forward them along. This seems to be the best way to let people try them out.
