Are the reinforcement Hydrans eligible to use the hellbore pre-loading rule (at the expense of battery power) when they enter the game?
Does the Dragoon come with its complement of fighters? The line in the setup about all Hydrans having their listed fighters seems to suggest yes.
What are the WPN and Drone slots on the BATS? We went with 5 hellbores and two Stinger berths (w/fighters). Got that from the Base Station
Aside: And what is with the BATS, anyway? For something built to be so powerful, it seems to have relatively few weapons and low power output. When I compare it to the SB, it seems to be a fair bit below half of its worth. _________________ 'If I have told you once I have told you a thousand times; DON'T PROVOKE THE BORG!'

Another question:
Does a Hydran BATS using Stinger bays in place of Drone racks take damage to the Stinger bays on Drone hits or are they considered to be extra Shuttle hits just like normal Stinger slots? _________________ 'If I have told you once I have told you a thousand times; DON'T PROVOKE THE BORG!'

A box always takes damage as the type of box that it is, and not the type of box that it replaced unless specifically stated otherwise in the description of the ship. So a Hydran BATS using Stingers would lose the shuttle bays for the Stingers on Shuttle hits as normal. |

While not explicitly stated in the rules, the idea is that it holds true for when a ship enters the scenario, not just if they enter the scenario in turn 1. The empty batteries would still hold, too.

Yes. In a published scenario, a Hydran ship with fighters is expected to have its full compliment of fighters unless the scenario rules state otherwise.

Base Station is a good template for that. Replace the WPN with Hellbore and the DRN with Stingers. (Which is what you did.) As an option, you could probably go with three hellbores in the pods, and four Stingers in the center hull, if you want. But what you did is probably the "standard" arrangement.

junior is correct. Boxes that are replaced by something else are that something else completely. So, a Drone box replaced with Stingers is hit on Shuttle hits, not Drone hits. That also means that the WPN boxes are hit on Drone hits (for the hellbores), not Torpedo hits. _________________
