In doing some research, I found that there are several different listings for the USS Hermes. First it is a scout ship and thought it goes on to have listing under sveral different types of ships. Are we saying that this ship was essentially disposable, lived a short life and kept getting comissioned as something else? _________________ "This Ship Was Built To Fight- You Had Better Know How" - Adm. The SFU Starship name registry only shows two ships named Hermes.
The original scout Hermes (NCC-585) and a much later NCV Hermes (NCC-1595) (which was either refitted from, or refitted to, an NVS; I don't know which direction that refit path goes).
Presumably the scout was destroyed, and the name was then carried forward to a new ship (likely to honor the deeds of the original). _________________

The NCV is based on the NCA; the NVS is based on the NCL. So, the path is NVS -> NCV. _________________

If she lived long enough for that major of a refit, that's a pretty good career. _________________

What I am needing now is a list of ships that were assigned to each of the fleets as defined by Federation & Empire and ships that had escorts and what ships those were. _________________ "This Ship Was Built To Fight- You Had Better Know How" - Adm. Arleigh Burke - USN

While the list does not say which fleet each ship was in, most of the early (pre-war) escorts have their associated carrier listed in the name registry. _________________ NOLI UMQUAM VIM TURBARUM STULTORUM DEPRETIARE.

What I am trying to do is write some fiction based upon elements of the game.
I'm disgusted that cannon "Trek" has essentially kicked Old Franz Joseph's designs to the curb and they treat it like "poop" for lack of a better word. Seeing how I can't ever find anyone to ever play this game with, I figure I may as well write some fiction related to it. _________________ "This Ship Was Built To Fight- You Had Better Know How" - Adm. The closest thing is the partial listing that has been done for the Romulan border fleet on the Day of the Eagle. That's about it for names and postings. _________________

The Federation and Empire OOB wil at least tell you how many of each ship were in the various fleets.
Using that, the Day of the Eagle fleet listing, and any notes in Section R ofthe SFB rulebook regarding which units were stationed where... may get quite a few of them done. _________________ Commander, Battlegroup Murfreesboro

Paul (I think it was Paul), did a posting a while back of a huge project he did to do a mini for every ship in the Romulan Border fleet (on DotE). Massive collection of minis and he researched all the names and hull numbers. Amazing project. _________________

thos mini's are very, very impressive. I may have to start buying some just for my collection. I would want a pro to paint them though, I don't have skills in that department. _________________ "This Ship Was Built To Fight- You Had Better Know How" - Adm. Arleigh Burke - USN

In this thread was a WAG List I made for 3rd Fleet on "Day One" or there about, and the ships I found a home for in the 7th Fleet. If the Ship is actual Historical I listed the Scenerio and Year in it. If anyone has anything to add or notices a goof please let me know and I will update my notes.
