I have seen numerous responses about PL D's being in Romulan Attack. I have Romulan Attack. Not only are there no Plasma D rules, but no PL D's at all. Where are they? _________________ "The good of the many outweighs the good of the few"

Page 2 of the Romulan Attack rulebook 2nd column. Rule 4J5.
The Romulan KRC has a pair (it's in Booster #9). And the Romulan Sparrowhawk-M Escort Cruiser and the Gorn Light Escort Cruiser, both found in Briefing #1, have them.
I'm sure there are more, but I don't have access to all my material here at work. _________________ O.G. OPTIMUS

Feds aren't really a plasma 'race', although some of their member races use them. _________________ "His pattern indicates two-dimensional thinking."

Well, the Fed BCF And DNF Use Torps, they're not really a Plasma Race though.
But I suppose you could argue the ISC Aren't either.
I am a BIG Fan of Plasma Torps. _________________ "The good of the many outweighs the good of the few"

For the feds, Plasma shows up where the drones should have been, so it's hardly a plasma race. the ISC are a different matter... |

The ISC really are a plasma race, IIRC.
The Cruiser has a PPD, but then it's got 2 S torps and then the 6 rear firing plasma-Fs.
And the PPD isn't supposed to be a common weapon. It's generally on larger ships (strike cruiser and up). And the ISC's ships often behave as one class higher too (the Star Cruiser is 185 points--that's darn near the Fed BCs and the Klingon C7!) _________________ O.G. OPTIMUS

All of the heavy weapons developed in ISC space from the Early Years onwards have been based on plasma in one way or another - and the unified Navy not only relied exclusively on plasma torps for nearly ninety years, but rolled out more pure plasma torp variants in response to the Andromedan invasion.
How much more of a plasma power do they need to be? _________________ FC Omega Discussion (v3)

In the light of Nerroth's posting, I would be interested to see your rationale there. I mean that in the best possible way _________________

Well, I was merely saying you could argue it, I wasn't. I agree with the rationale here. I concede anyway.
Do the ISC have PL D's though? I know they don't have R's. _________________ "The good of the many outweighs the good of the few"

I think the ISC don't have Plasma-Ds on ships, AFAIK. Their fighters do, and maybe their escort ships, but that's Borders of Madness. None of their standard combat variants have plasma-D. _________________ "Captain" Terry O'Carroll, fourteen papers published including six best of issue
