This one went into the mail today:
It was a long, hard 9 1/2 months to get from conception through versions 1.0, 2.0, 2.1, 3.0, 3.0a and all the way to version 4.2b.
The final version shown above consists of 91! separate pieces of brass sheet... almost two feet of brass rod... 1 1/2 packs of green-stuff... over 2 dozen steel pins... and other miscellaneous accutrements. _________________ Commander, Battlegroup Murfreesboro

Wow. It looks fantastic Tony. Great job!!
The epoxy to attach the final brass trim bits (ADD, drone hatches) is curing as I type this. A quick hit with the file, and then the F-5W is complete too. _________________

Assuming that it doesn't get lost or damaged in the mail between Tennessee and Amarillo...
Assuming that it doesn't get lost or damaged in UPS between Amarillo and Ohio...
Assuming that it survives the mold-making process...
It will be under your Christmas tree.
We have a release date on 16 Nov and one on 7 December. One of those. _________________ The Guy Who Designed Fed Commander

Burt:
Sturdy box...
1 sheet of foam (3/4" thick) on the bottom...
1 sheet of foam (3/4" thick) in middle layer (with Juggernaut shaped cutout to hold it securely)...
1 sheet of foam (3/4" thick) on top...
Small cardboard spacer on one end to fill space...
Fed DD engine bubble wrapped and inserted into cardboard spacer.
They should be fine all the way to Amarillo! _________________ Commander, Battlegroup Murfreesboro

Sounds good. If you were down here on the Bayou with me, Matt, and Mike, you would need to make sure the package was water proofed too.

We're +17 inches over our normal rainfall here. September '09 was the 2nd wettest month on record (and missed the record by 0.05"!).
Much more water here, and I'm going to haveto start thinking about waterproofing the packages anyway. _________________ Commander, Battlegroup Murfreesboro

Yeah, but me being a Tennessee boy to begin with, I know the bass fishing will be good once the rain stops. That is one thing that is truly great about Tennessee...bass fishing! Pick a direction and there is a river or lake close by. Kinda miss it. Kinda miss the mountains, too. _________________ HoD K'el

SVC.......stop your killing me. Scoutdad it is gorgeous well done! I really enjoy seeing the Juggy thanks for taking the time to get this done. Nobody appreciates the hard work you have put into that. As someone who has tried and failed at creating something from scratch WELL DONE. My hat is off to all of you craftsmen you have a gift and from all of us who enjoy assembling and painting your mini's I do appreciate your hard work.
