The ion torpedo gets both an overlaod and a proximity firing mode. Is the proximity photon going to be seen again? _________________ If it does not fit, use a bigger hammer.

In the proximity section of the playtest ion cannon rules in the Reference Rulebook is a note that says the proximity function was under consideration and that, if included, would mean that the photon proximity function would be included, too.
As it turns out, the proximity function was dropped from the ion cannon rules. So, no proximities for anyone. (And no DERFACS for disruptors.) _________________
