Not SFB/FC minis, but thought you all might find my current project interesting...
Basecoats only at this point...still a lot of work to do. _________________ Check out my website at: http://www.jgray-sfb.com/

Spectacular! I'm still a fan of the old school Galactica, which appears to be on the back row.
Love it! _________________ Let's get DANGEROUS!

Rick,
Mixture of sources. Iron Wind Medals, Hanger 18, Ravenstar Studios, Studio Bergstrom, Shapeways - Irrational Designs. Many of the Ravenstar minis are now out of print, but others are still out there to be had.

You're going to paint "The Bucket" and "The Beast" up first, right? _________________

Not much progress on minis lately (parent's been visiting here in Germany for the last two weeks), but I have started working on a game mechanism for those BSG minis. I've settled on an adaption of Axis and Allies War at Sea. Plays fast and handles huge numbers of fighters, so it works pretty well for the BSG setting. Not on a detail or complexity level of FC or SFB, but that's OK with me in this case. I got my father...not a gamer...to play War at Sea 9(!) times in the last week or so. My wife is taking an interest! _________________ Check out my website at: http://www.jgray-sfb.com/

As for the minis, I'm hoping to get back to painting in a couple weeks. Main effort right now is getting work done on SFB Module E3. Hopefully, I can knock that out and get back to painting soon. My next SFB project will be the Vudar...so many minis, so little time. _________________ Check out my website at: http://www.jgray-sfb.com/

Ah ha! Found my suppliers of my Kzinti fleets!
Yes, I use BSG ships for my Kzinti / Kilrathi fleets. I prime them black, paint them battleship gray, and detail the guns with black barrels with gunmetal tips. I use old original cylon fighters for Kilrathi use, Kzinti fighters for Kzinti use, and modified Vipers for BSG use.
One fleet, three gaming systems; that's economics in action! And I can take this into three more gaming systems!
I have built nine fleets to match the Kilrathi fleets as closly as possible, and it was fun just doing that. The fighters were a bit of a challenge and I am still working on them, modifying stands for the most part. I think this project alone will be never ending. _________________ HoD K'el

Thanks guys. No real progress on these guys late...working on other things. Hopefully, I can get the Module E3 project rolling and out of the way and get back to more enjoyable mini painting! _________________ Check out my website at: http://www.jgray-sfb.com/
