Back when I played SFB, one of my favorite "series of scenarios" was the Captain's Game (and the destroyer version whose name escapes me at the moment). Have either of those been ported to FC at this point?
I'd just use the master scenario list to do it myself if I still had any of my old SFB material - which sadly I do not. |

To the best of my knowledge - no, it hasn't. _________________ "Captain" Terry O'Carroll, fourteen papers published including six best of issue

Well, can the Captain's Game campaign from SFB be posted here for comments, clarifications, additions, changes? _________________ Mike

I such a thing is permissible, even a listing of the scenarios used so that they could be compared to their FC counterparts would be quite useful.
...and can someone refresh my memory on what the smaller-scale version was called? Destroyer's Captain's Game? (epic memory fail) |

I think I'll try working something up to see what SVC thinks about it. _________________ Mike

U8.0 Frigate Captian's Game
As far as the Captian's Game (U2.0) went it was basicly 9 Scenarios which included 4 Monster Scenerios, 3 Single Ship Duels, and 2 Other Specific Scenarios which are already in FedCom. It is upto SVC wither or not we cn post what the others were or the Matrixs of Enemies faced and when. _________________ -Dal

I hope I'm not treading on toes here, but I submitted a FedComm version of the Captain's Campaign Game to SVC today and he replied that he thought it was a good idea, but he wanted to design it from scratch.
So, it looks as if we might be seeing something sometime after CL42 gets finished, printed, and released. _________________ Mike

Mike: excellent news - I look forward to it!
Dal: I don't think I'd need even the listing of enemies - the scenario names alone should get me what I need to recreate the "old-style" campaign. Is it OK to post just the scenario names/numbers? |

No, you do need the specific enemies if you're going to stick to the SFB Captain's Campaign Game. _________________ Mike

I was using the old Commander's Edition stuff I still have. It was in there. _________________ Mike
