... not very exciting, but maybe useful if you want to know what to expect in such a match-up. The tactics of each side are more interesting due to the lack of cloaking devices IMO. |

This time... a massed salvo from just outside of photon range.
If the Fed continues to close range, he will lose one ship. If he does not close range, he stays outside of his optimum engagement range for hexes 1-5. It's a win-win.
The Gorn should turn after firing the salvo to bring opposite side plasma to bear and in order to keep the distance up.
If everybody knows what everybody will do, that might change things somewhat.... But the harsh reality of battle damage is what it is. |
