|

With the ADDs change coming in the Rev6 rules, would it be possible to reconsider having ADDs be able to fire on a previously impacted drone held in a tractor beam? I always thought it seemed odd that you could use ADDs (which are specifically designed to hit drones) only on the impulse of impact, but phasers could be used on future impulses. Thanks,

I don't think so. This change gives you the opportunity for more than one shot (in prior offensive fire phases). In a way, the change helps address the issue, but in a different direction. _________________

Main reason is, in SFB ADDs are more accurate at longer ranges, and automatically miss if the range is too short. (Being kinetic kill weapons, maybe they need time to accelerate?) A drone in a tractor is too close to effectively engage. _________________ "Captain" Terry O'Carroll, fourteen papers published including six best of issue

I would imgine the tractor field itself interfered with the flight of the ADD ---
Might actually get caught up by the tractor, possibly releasing the drone for immediate strike on the ship -- |
