I saw this in the BoM thread and thought it should get it's own thread for ease of finding it. In the RRB v6 Aegis rules, it says:
(3F1) PROTECTION: An Aegis escort ship within four hexes of a friendly ship may “protect” it by using phasers (and anti-drones within two hexes) against enemy seeking weapons which have already “impacted” that friendly ship. This is done in the Defensive Fire Phase.
But it doesn't mention if the To-Hit roll is 1-3 or 1-4 (also, (4E3) doesn't mention anything about Aegis either). If this hasn't been clarified in the new RRB v6a rules, it might be a good idea to add something. Thanks,

As it turns out, the RRB6a answers this question.
Oh, you want the answer, too?
It is the 1-3 to hit. On the plus side, the aegis defender can also fire at impacted drones and suicide shuttles held in tractors. _________________

RRB6a was sent to Leanna yesterday but I forgot to tell her it was on her hard disk. (I intercommed her just this second, and she found it. She said she had to add the covers before she could upload it to e23, but she also said she'd be printing some today. She also said that exactly one RRB6 got out of the building and that person was being mailed a free RRB6a.) _________________ The Guy Who Designed Fed Commander
