In that case wasn't the shooting at the end of the turn on each others number 2 shield rather than number 1?

Yep. Forgot to correct the target arc to account for new positions.
IKV Soulthief has taken 13 points to it's #2 shield and the KHS Bloodbath has taken 3 points to it's #2 shield as well.

Turn 1, Impulse 8, Launch Seeking Weapons:
The Klingon D5W Soulthief launched 2 drones at the Kzinti BC Bloodbath.
The Klingon D5W Soulthief launched a suicide shuttle at the Kzinti BC Bloodbath.
The Orion CA Burden of Proof launched 2 drones at the Kzinti BC Bloodbath.
The Orion CA Burden of Proof launched a suicide shuttle at the Kzinti BC Bloodbath

The Kzinti BC and the Federation monitor withheld weapon launch.

The end of impulse 1 saw a bit of long range fire.
I tried to post an updated map to photobucket, but it's down for maintainence tonight. Will post a detailed update tomorrow.

Turn #2, impulse #1 also saw the launch of 4 more drones.
Currently waiting on a response to a pre-ordered Break conditon, but will pick up the game soon.

The drone swarm counter: KD1-4 is targeted on the Orion CA.
All other drones (KD-1 through KD-4, OD-1 through OD-4) and the suicide shuttles are targetd on the Kzinti BC.

Well... as I was filing the processed orders - I noticed one that had been overlooked.
During Impulse 1 Launch phase... the Kzinti BC launched 4 additional Drones, each targeted on one ofthe incoming drones... KD1, KD2, OD1, OD2.

Those corrections will be made to the SitRep and map and will be visible as ofthe next update.

WOW! This game has certainly seen some excitement...
It's only the end of Turn #2, impulse #4 and we've already seen 16 drones launched, 4 suicide shuttles armed and launched, and some long range disruptor fire.
In addition, the ADDs and Ph-3's are getting a workout.
(As is the moderator!!! Confused )

As you can see, it's a huge change from the last map posted.
To attempt to bring you up to speed, here's the SitRep spreadsheet:

Image one is the left half of the top protion of the spreadsheet.
It shows the movement plots of the ships themselves and the first seeking units launched...


Image two is the right half. It shows the movement plot for the remaining seeking units.

The actual Situation Report [SitRep] spreadsheets contain much more data than is visible in this images.

Many of the cells visible in the previous inages have the triangle hash mark visible in the corner that indicates an inserted comment.

I use these comments to track critical game data.
For example,
The "Turn 2" cells next to Energy Allcoation have comments.
If you hover your mouse over those cells in the actual sheet, a comment pop-ups showing the complete EA form for that ship.
The cells containg the ID designation for the seeking units have pop-up comments as well. These comment list Launching Unit / Launching Rack or Tube (if applicable) / Target / Impulse of Launch / etc.
The final cells for these seekign units have comments indicating how they were destroyed.
And so on.
