In Scenario (8RA4), Encounter at Denebola, there is an Orion BATS that cannot fire weapons and in turn cannot be fired at the the Federation battle group. However, the BATS is in the same hex as the Federation NCL at the start of the battle.
Can the BATS tractor the NCL without violating the "no-fire" rule?
Further, if using Special Sensors (5S), can the BATS use its Special Sensors to support the Romulan/Orion ships (or even just the Orion ship)?
Note - in the original SFB Scenario the BATS was a BS, but could fire. _________________ Nothing is quite as persuasive as a disruptor pistol on slow burn and a rotisserie...... |

- If using tractors means the Feds instantly lose, no. If using the tractors means the Feds probably lose, no. So, I'm going with, "No."
- No special sensors. _________________

I don't think this introduces an instant win for the Orion/Romulans, mainly because any Federation Commander worth his salt will be running at Speed 24 towards the other Federation ships. As long as the NCL moves at least 2hexes during the first impulse, he'll be safe from tractor beams. _________________ Nothing is quite as persuasive as a disruptor pistol on slow burn and a rotisserie...... |
