Plasma D costs +3 for orions. However, as just pointed out in another thread they must be taken in pairs. Is the +3 per pair of racks or per rack. |

It is per rack. A pair of racks would be +6. _________________

I think a lot of the Orion weapon costs are silly, especially the 2 space weapons such as PL-S and ESG. Not only are you paying a premium for the weapons, but you're costing yourself 2 weapon slots. The PPD is the only 2 space weapon that's arguably worth the cost since it is so devastating. My opinion is that costs should be:
PL-G 1 pt. It has better range than the PL-F and can 2 turn F, but can't carronade. Plus seeking plasma is weak in general in FC.
PL-S 0 pts. 2 spaces is enough of a penalty.
ESG -3 pts if it takes 2 slots, or +6 pts if it takes 1 slot. It's a nice weapon, but not worth 3 pts AND 2 slots.
PL-D 3 pts for 2 plasma-D. 6 pts seems excessive.
This is only an opinion and possibly not a good idea since Orions are already an excellent race and anything that helps them more may be excessive. However, you might see people actually take some of these weapons with these cost adjustments. |

Buy what you think best. The costs are correct. _________________ The Guy Who Designed Fed Commander
