My recollection of SVCs thoughts on the Vudar is very simular to the Scoutdad's. _________________ Mike Curtis, FEAR, Copyright 2014 ADB, Inc.

I have a vague recollection that the Vudar "rebellion" might have been a Federation propaganda exercise! Certainly that's what the Klingons claimed. _________________ Nothing is quite as persuasive as a disruptor pistol on slow burn and a rotisserie...... |

I voted for the Regalhawk. The more Romulan ships with R torps, the better. But if we end up instead with a commando cruiser, I won't complain, as no doubt there will be interesting scenarios published that call for its use. _________________ "Reality is that which, when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away" - Philip K Dick |

The other way, actually. The Klingons leaked to the Feds that the Vudar were in open revolt when they were actually not. Made the Feds think that the Klingons were weaker than they were. _________________ The Guy Who Designed Fed Commander

Regalhawk was my vote.
I vaguely remember from ~20 years ago other hawk names such as "Superhawk" and "Killerhawk". I don't remember anything about them except the names; I would be curious to see those in FC in the future too.
I don't remeber the name "Demonhawk" but if it is also another obnoxiously powerful hawk variant, I would also be curious to see that too. |

May I re-vote for the fed commando cruiser, seeing that the D7E isn't going to win? |

Killerhawk was the up-gunned FHK.
Superhawk is a CVA built on the FHK hull. _________________ Dux Volantis

The Killerhawk is a pocket DN (cruiser hull with dreadnought heavy weapons) based on a Novahawk.
The Superhawk is a casual carrier command cruiser based on the Novahawk. The CVA was really the Superhawk-B. The Superhawk will likely never be seen in FC.
(In point of fact, the Killerhawk and the Novahawk were really variants of the Superhawk, but that is neither here nor there.)
The Demonhawk is a full DN that uses two Sparrowhawk/Firehawk modules and one Skyhawk module. It was 'historically' never built. _________________

Not like it matters, since it isn't likely to win... But I'm guessing the Klingon survey cruiser would be a D5 variant? I don't recall if there is a D5 (or D5W) survey cruiser variant though. My pieced together Master Starship Book from SFB is hiding somewhere, and it doesn't include Module R12. And my most up to date Master Annexes is G2.
That and the D5E that I know of is an escort cruiser.
I would hope that it would be the D5E, since the D6E would be so similar to the D7E that we got back in Communique #45 (that's September 2009). _________________ O.G. OPTIMUS

Remember that the way things work, the winner gets printed, the lowest ship goes back into the pile, and the second and sometimes third ships stay on next months's survey.
The Klingon survey ships were D7E and D6E. _________________ The Guy Who Designed Fed Commander
