Yes, bitmap artifacts.
Be careful about throwing around scanned counters as that's a copyright issue. Posting one or two to ask a question or demonstrate a point is fair use. _________________ The Guy Who Designed Fed Commander

Steve,
I had worried about that a little, too and thought long and hard before posting the CVM picture... I figured we could control it pretty well here, and it was an older countersheet. Certainly we can pull it, though, since my question is answered
My next question is: The modified counters, which I posted, would those considered "Fan Art" or are they a violation? I'll happily remove those if we need to, of course
Copyright law/Fan art sort of confuses me a lot of the time _________________

Nothing done so far is a violation or needs to be pulled down. (If it had been, I'd have done it already.) _________________ The Guy Who Designed Fed Commander

I particularly like the thin white outlines. They define the basic shapes. _________________ Mike

Steve: Cool, I understand, and Thank you!
And thank you Mike! I modeled them after the counters in an old TSR game called "Star Frontiers". I still have those counters in my counter collection box and I was simply wondering what SFB counters would look like styled the same way. The line widths and detail level are the same as the TSR 1/2" counters. I'm kinda curious what the white counter sets (Tholians, Orions, Hydrans) will look like since there were no white counters in SF.
Maybe I'll start an art thread on this project thing (Since my questions here have been answered and I should really let this thread die out) _________________
