Not sure if Mongoose will be producing decals or not.
Matthew has said they are looking into it, so I assume that menas that they will eventually be producing decals.

I can now, finally say that there will be decals (at least for the Federation) available nearly congruent with the miniatures release. Will McCammon and I have teamed up to provide Starline 2500 scaled decals for the Federation units.

You can see what these decals will look like by looking at the painted prototypes I did for Mongoose here:
Federation oCL
Federation CFs
Federation Fleet
Fed Fleet

These decals are printed on clear, water-slide paper with a high resolution laser-printer.
they will be available in Fleet Box sheets, Squadron box sheets, and as individuals for individual blister packs.
Custom names/hull number will be available.

More information (pricing, lay-out, and ordering information) will be provided later this week.
Questions can be directed to myself or Will via email or private message.

Currently, only Federation decals are available - but plans are being made to obtain the requisite equipment to produce high-quality, custom decals for all empires.
More information on that as it becomes available.

Thanks,

Tenneshington Decals
Tony L. Thomas
Will McCammon

Tony wanted to call it "stickers be done by us", but we went with Tenneshington for the name.

As Tony notes, the art is all done and currently being checked against prototype miniatures. Test versions have already been printed and used on the minis that are in the photos that Tony linked.

A website to act as a portal for ordering, etc., will go up in the next month or so.

I'm proud of our product and hope it helps folks bring their minis to a level of detail that they desire.

Will the long-term plan be to have a fixed set of decals on offer, or will there be enough leeway for people to make individual requests (for specific ship names and NCC numbers, etc)?

It would be nice if, at some point, there could be a set of decals to allow the relevant ships (Fed CL and POL, and Orion CR) to be flown in Federal Republic of Aurora decals; but I would understand if that sort of thing was not feasible.

As Tony noted, questions about Tenneshington Decals products should be made via email or private message to him or me. ADB is kind enough to let us announce this on their boards, but we shouldn't use their nickle for our business.

Since this question is already out there, I'll answer it:
We will have standard "package" offerings, made to coordinate with the various Mongoose/ADB box-sets, for-sale at a set-rate.

All the names will be custom names on those products and a part of the product price (with some limits on names; no profanity, etc.).

Truly custom work (new page or decal layouts, etc.) would be at a more significant rate to account for my time revising graphics and Tony's doing unique print jobs.

At this time, there are no firm plans to do decals for Orion hulls. That might change in the future (depending on a whole boatload of factors), but for right now we are sticking with decals for Federation ships and will build from there.

My eyes glazed over that part, sorry; I'll keep things off-board in the future.

That said, thanks for the reply above.

No... once we have final details, then we'll start a new thread and ask MJW to sticky it.

No, it is not what it is, it is what the players want. Give me a day or two and we'll have decals in operation. (If we don't, you'll be buying decals from bootleg venders in dangerous back alleys.)
