Fair enough on the base thing; I suppose the Sector Base can wait for now.
Fed-wise, it is a bit of a shame to see the OCA miss the cut; but I guess it's fair, since the ships were all gone by the time of the Main Era, while the Two Moons was (briefly) around by then.
For the ISC, it may be as well to simply give slot 30 to the CF; the CLF could wait for a future batch of fast war cruisers to be added to if necessary.
There is one request I might make of the DNL, though. At present, the ship cannot operate as a lone raider/responder (akin to other light dreadnoughts) due to its PPDs; it needs at least two supporting ships to be viable as a "fast echelon". (Which is where having both the CF and CLF might have been handy, but alas.) With that in mind, could the FC version of the ship get the same kind of plasma variant that the (conjectural) light battleship got for SFB in CL41S; with its port and starboard PPDs swapped out for plasma-S launchers? _________________ FC Omega Discussion (v3)

To be blunt about the DDF and OCA, both are marginal filler. I actually suggested keeping the OCA over the DDF because it had the better service record. (The OCA had a small production run. The DDF was a unique ship that died quickly.) However, the DDF was heavily requested (more than most [possibly all] of the other ships in Reinforcements), so it won out.
On the ISC CF/CLF, that is a decision that Steve will make. Even if it is the CLF, that shouldn't be an issue as, really, the CLF isn't a CWF. It is a fairly unique class into itself (like the DDF).
For the ISC DNL, its PPDs should not prevent independent operations. It has already been established that the ISC CS can operate independently (if needed). I see no reason that the DNL could not also operate independently, if so needed. _________________

Fair enough.

Technically the Fast SparrowHawk and WYN Orca-F aren't CWFs either, despite the latter's official designation; keeping the CLF with those wouldn't be that much of a stretch.

If it's allowed to run on its own, that will do. (I kind of like the idea of a DNL-CF-CLF fast echelon, all the same.) _________________ FC Omega Discussion (v3)

I like the list too, but I have one request:
Could we get multiple counters for the ships in the "cops and raiders" booster? Police ships (unlike dreadnaughts) have the tendency to show up in groups of more than one during battes, and I think that booster will be popular anyways. |

I like pinecone idea of "cops and robbers/raiders". I would like to see an orion police ship (o.k an enforcer then ). As I am sure all cartels would field a leader varient to collect there dues/fees. _________________ Captain Jack a.k.a The Unorthodox, Scourge of the Dreadnought and Master of the PH3, Grandmaster of the PH3 RA |

The sheet has 40 one-inch counters so the 40 named ships get one of each.
The sheet has 140 half-inch counters so you can have all you want of anything you want. _________________ The Guy Who Designed Fed Commander

fair enough.
One other question: why was Nancy excluded? It seems like a popular ship. |

The Nancy was a last minute drop to make room for the CWE. Rather than leave the WYN as the only empire without its escort, they were given it at the expense of another WYN ship. Fundamentally, the WYN had four candidates for three spots, and the AuxDN drew the short straw.
Also, it is problematic in FC. In the SFU, the Nancy was actually a terrible ship that didn't work well. If presented as just a ship card, it would have been more effective than it should have, which would have required some special rules to tone it down. (Or perhaps we would have just left the incongruity.) _________________
