So here's my first battlegroup, fresh from the bath (getting the mold release off). A mix of Zocchi 2400's and the new 2500s.
Poor Gordo Cooper and Charlamange are soaking in Simple Green at the moment, getting an old paint job off. Bolo is saving the day by sending in what will be the Sadat.
I'll still need two more frigates (I hope that's one pack) and this battlegroup will be ready to go!
Now to start the work on the 2500s... they have a lot of holes and mold mismatch problems that'll need putty and work. But that's the fun of it, isn't it?
I'll keep posting here as I progress!

Looks like loads of fun to be had there. I am also looking forward to seeing the end results. _________________ Let's get DANGEROUS!

Well, moving along:
It takes a lot more work to work with the 2500s than the Zocchis, so they are taking longer to come along (I have a few warp nacelles that have almost no Bussard caps at all as a bubble formed in them during casting, leaving them mostly hollow).
The Destroyer Group is coming along nicely, though! I only have the dark grey trim to go there!
I'm waiting for the Frigate blisters to come out so I can get the other two FF's I need.
Does anyone know how to get extra sensor dishes so I can put them on the SC's? _________________
