The starship illustrations at Jaynz (jaynz.trekships.org) are a great reference for those who make their own ship cards (I'm assuming its OK to mention them-- I've seen references in other posts). But I really wish they had images of non-fed ships. Is there a site out there that gives us ADB-style Klingons etc.? _________________ Damn, these dice are cold! |

It there was/is, and they are using ADB's unique designs (like the C-8, F-5, etc.), then they're tempting fate. _________________

I mean legitimate sites. I believe Jaynz is permitted to post what they do ? Yes? No? If so, then is there a legitimate (sanctioned, licensed, commissioned, ordained, or otherwise permitted) site that posts non-Fed ship
illustrations or diagrams? I mean, if I want to modify a D7, I can delete all the boxes, fill in all the holes, and slap my own boxes over it but it would be nice to start from scratch. _________________ Damn, these dice are cold! |

The status of Jaynz (which appears to be Vance's site) is up to ADB to decide. _________________

Jaynz is not authorized to use our ships, although we have discussed with them the idea of them doing a book for us. They never followed through and now we're talking to other ship artists. _________________ The Guy Who Designed Fed Commander

I am not grasping your question. we have approved many sites to do many things. We just haven't approved Jaynz to publish (on the web or elsewhere) drawings based on ships ADB created and owns. _________________ The Guy Who Designed Fed Commander

When I make my own ship cards (SFB conversions or my own dumb stuff), I like to start by overlaying the the systems boxes over a clean ship diagram. I'm just looking for a place to get those diagrams. Stuff made for personal use, I've got a free hand, I know. But if it's possible to start with "ADB approved" material, then so much the better. Not that I'd try to pass anything off as an official ship, I just like to make them as official-looking as possible. It's a compulsive thing _________________ Damn, these dice are cold! |

Oh, I see what you're asking. We've never had a reason to think about placing the underlay images I did on line. I don't want people copying them all over the place for no end of things, so I'm not sure I can make that happen, but let me think about things. _________________ The Guy Who Designed Fed Commander

Cool. If it can't happen, it can't happen. Just thought I'd ask. _________________ Damn, these dice are cold! |
