I have a couple of questions that I'm hoping can be answered regarding web uses.
1) Can a webcaster cast and free standing web and then have two Tholians ships at each end drop buoys and start building along the edges? If this is allowed, can the web laid by the WC be supported and increased in strength?
2) How much damage must a web anchor buoy take before destroyed?
Thanks,
Paul |

reference 4Q3c:
Free standing web cannot be extended or reinforced, nor can anchors be added to it.
If you want to use anchors, just cast normal web onto the anchors. _________________ Speed is life; Patience is victory

A web anchor buoy takes 16 points of damage to destroy. See Rule (5M2j) para. 3
Oh and just to clarify:

...is correct, and my clarification is that the anchors would need to be pre-existing (but yes they can be anchor buoys) before the normal web is cast; otherwise you could only cast free-standing web. _________________

The normal tactic is to send two ships out there, cast onto them, and have them drop buoys and move on. _________________ The Guy Who Designed Fed Commander
