Do we have a tentative release date for the new 2500 Lyrans? I'm wondering if I should wait for those or (if Mongoose is taking its customary sweet time) go ahead and get the 2400s... |

Not any time soon, maybe not even this year. I don't really know, but book 1 has to be fixed before we can start writing book 2. Dont need lyran ships without lyran rules. _________________ The Guy Who Designed Fed Commander

Since I play Fed Commander and not ACTA, I could certainly use Lyran ships this year since I have all the Lyrans rules I need. |

That's a consideration, but as was said elsewhere, no new ships will be released until all Book 1 ships are released. _________________ The Guy Who Designed Fed Commander

What's remaining in that queue? (I could probably go figure it out, but thought you might have a list handy; if not, no worries, I'm sure someone else will post soon enough with that list. ) _________________

Armed Cutter and Armed Priority Transport are the same mini too.
Regardless, the lack of "target" ships and bases really hampers using Starline 2500 for SFB and FedCom scenarios. I'm looking forward to them hitting my workbench, sometime soon. _________________

Have you seen the BATS and freighter substitutes Tony and I have been purchasing?
I plan to have a mix of Starline 2500 civilians, and generic civilian ships from probably several lines just for the variety. |

I have seen them. I've actually known about the stuff on Shapeways for many years.
Given the amount of input I got to have into the Starline 2500 minis, I'd rather just wait until they become available. Lack of opponents makes it not all that pressing; I just want to see how they turned out and have fun painting mine up and doing decals for them. _________________
